I had the worst service at MacDonalds this evening. My daughter and I had gone too the store to place a order while at the online kiosk we could not find the Big Mac on the menu we then went to the till point to place the order when we got there, there was a young lady in front of us so we waited for her to place her order, once it was our turn to order the cashier left her post and went to the back in the kitchen a few minutes past and another lady came to us to take our order she then informed us they did not have any Big Mac’s “ we must go order from the kiosk” I then asked why I have to go to the kiosk to order when the lady before did not have to go? The answer was “she order chilli fries and it’s not on the kiosk” I accepted that and my daughter and I proceeded to place our order on the kiosk. We then waited in the store for our order. Only to keep checking the screens that said when your meal is being prepared and when you can collect. We never saw our number on that screen which was order#3455. After about 25-30min I told my daughter to go to the counter and ask if her order is ready yet. The lady behind the counter made her stand there for almost 5mins while she was trying to get her attention and in that time she stood alone there with no one around her eventually the lady assisted her only to tell her absolutely nothing!!! She came back to sit by me at one of the tables and I asked her what the lady said, she said the lady just took my receipt looked at it gave it back too her saying something along the lines of burger. I then also moved closer to the collection counter I then saw my desert and the cool drink standing on the counter but no food or order number being called. I then saw two more customers come in to the store and both (bravo females) of them were help at the till point by the cashier that told me I must order at the kiosk. They then proceeded to help and give the lady’s order to her. I then proceeded to ask why they helped the two lady’s at the till point and I was told to go to the kiosk, they realised then who I was and they literally just laughed at me gave no explanation and turn their backs to my daughter and I. They then also gave my desert to another customer while I was standing there so they said it melted but I was at the counter the entire time and saw that nothing was wrong with the deserts so they felt it to be ok to still lie in my face poor poor service really disgusting!!! I really hope you as a management structure by this I mean branch as well as regional take some time to have a look at the video footage of this evening I entered the store at 19h35 place my order at approximately 19h45 only to leave the store 20h23. In closing I’m not the person to pull the race card right, but I really feel that is what it was as I am a Charlie male and only bravo males and females got these “privileges”. I hope this matter can be resolved soonest maybe some refresher training is needed.
Racial Profiling!!!Disgraceful behavior...on Tuesday 29 June 2021 I went to Clicks Weltevreden Valley Mall with my young daughters to purchase some items. While waiting at pharmacy for my ticket number to be called I notice the female security guard staring at me , I brushed it off at first but after a few minutes of waiting I notice she's still staring at me and watched me for the entire time I was at the Pharmacy. My turn came I made my purchase and continued to get more items. At this time I noticed the same female security guard following me through the store. Each and every ilse I went to she was there. Then we came to another ilse where there was a cleaning staff member (Female) working.. The security guard Then spoke to her in her mother tongue then she started following us as well into another isle .. at this point I started feeling very uncomfortable, as if I was doing something wrong. I then told my kids "come let's finish up ,pay for what we have and go" bear in mind I did not get everything I came for.. We where in the payment Q and the female security and the cleaning lady was still staring at us..at the teller I paid for my stuff and I asked for the Manager but the Manager could not resolve anything but just said she is sorry.. i had to go to another store to buy what I needed. I feel this I very unacceptable behavior on their part and I don't appreciate being treated like a thieve as I work and earn my money honestly..
