We paid an exorbitant amount to relocate our furniture and boxes from Johannesburg to Abu Dhabi with Stuttaford Van Lines, based on a quoted transit time of 4–6 weeks. Our goods were collected on 25 June 2025, but the container was only booked with the shipping line almost two months later, and delivery was completed nearly 13 weeks after collection. For weeks we received little to no communication — multiple emails and WhatsApps went unanswered until we escalated by copying in additional staff. Our original consultant disappeared without a handover, which added to the frustration. On a positive note, once the container finally shipped, the process on the UAE side was smooth, and our belongings arrived intact. However, for a premium-priced service, the poor communication and delay were unacceptable. We hope Stuttaford reviews its internal communication and booking processes so that future customers receive the level of professionalism expected from a brand with such a longstanding reputation.
Mercedes Benz Bryanston offers appalling service. The quality of service they offer doesn’t align with what the brand advertises. This is the fourth time I’ve been let down by them; this time going as far as accusing me of tampering with my car and refusing to fix the defect even though it’s still under motor plan and was sold to me by them, pre-owned, in this condition. Disappointed is an understatement.
Had the most unpleasant experience, after years of being a loyal customer, at the Nicolway branch. My beauty the****** left me midway during my treatment to attend to a walk-in without any explanation. She proceeded to start the treatment of the walk-in with no form of communication. I’m very upset about this quality of service and wish it never to happen again.
They pride themselves on being “timeous” but they arrived 3 hours late. All of their phones were off, at one point even the truck driver. They make you pay in full then arrive so late and offer no apology but instead an excuse. If you would like a stress-free and easy move, do NOT use them.
Absolutely shocking service. An accumulative waiting time of 3 hours and 20 minutes. On the day of moving they were 2 hours late which resulted in them not being allowed into my complex for security reasons. The second day, which they managed to squeeze me in, they didn’t prioritize me as the first customer and instead arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes late. Instead of an apology they give me an excuse. I paid in full days in advance. No respect for the client’s time and I will NOT recommend their business or service to anyone.
