Pathetic resale value, a rip off from Volvo select
I drive a Volvo S60 T3 Excel Powershift, it is a 2014 model with 63 000km. Very good condition with a full service history. I recently wanted to sell this car and just realized that you should never invest in a Volvo. It has no resale value. The Trade value is R183 000 and the retail value is R219 000 (book value as known here). Went to Volvo select and they offered my between R155 000 and R160 000. How do you justify it. The resale value is R219 000 - how do you justify a profit of almost R60 000! It is a very good car, but Volvo is for life.
