I have never in my life encounter such a deceitful business. The director and his crooked subjects will do & say anything to get your money and then turn their back on you. They will tell lies or not even take your calls. Your only recourse will be costly lawyers and timely criminal proceedings. Not even the MIOSA (Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa) will be able to assist you because EMERALD AUTO ignores this entity which means you will then have to approach the NCC (National Consumer Commission) and that process could take years. When I recently bought a car from them I had to deal with Three different salesmen because 2 left after each other. EMERALD AUTO assured me the car had no electric defects but after I paid for the car I found out that the car had a major computer system problem. I declined to take ownership of the car until it’s fixed. After many weeks of not being able to fix it I demanded a refund and they just ignored me! After months of paperwork, MIOSA informed me that EMERALD AUTO is not cooperating and that I should approach the NCC. I had my attorneys demand my refund from EMERALD AUTO or face a lawsuit & criminal action. After 5 mounts of Hell with second hand dealership I eventually got my refund, the director refused to pay the interest I lost on the R220 000,00 paid to them for the car. EMERALD AUTO drags all the reputable used car dealerships in South Africa down the drain.

Bought 2 vouchers the one merchant said they not dealing with Hyperli anymore when I want to redeem it and the other place closed down. Both vouchers were still valid but still Hyperli goes against the Consumer Protection Act and just give vouchers instead of refunding me. they make their own rules about a 7 day refund policy, which is illegal.
