I’m writing this as a parent who was really saddened to see a teacher being publicly bashed on this platform. Having seen firsthand how dedicated, caring, and full of integrity she’s been with the kids, it just feels incredibly unfair that things turned out this way. Yes, there was an incident where a child got hurt but from what I understand, some of the details shared in parent groups were blown out of proportion. Kids fall, they get hurt, it happens, no matter how careful anyone is. To take something like that and turn it into a reason for someone to lose their job feels wrong. The children adored her, and it’s honestly heartbreaking to think of how they’ll be affected too. This whole situation could have been handled with so much more fairness and empathy. Although I am grateful that the Managing Director has agreed to meet in person to discuss HR processes, I still find it difficult to understand how this escalated to such an extreme outcome in the first place. I really hope the school reflects on this and chooses integrity, compassion, and proper process next time instead of just reacting.
The hotel has a lot of potential yet it did not completely meet my expectations for a 4 star boutique hotel, to start off with the room (this is the Deluxe Suite) cupboard was completely broken could not open or close and the shelves inside the cupboard were broken too, the carpets were badly stained almost as if someone had thrown up on it and left it to dry, the room skirting's were broken and the headboard by the bed as well. Overall the furniture in the room should be changed or fixed even just vanished! The Bathroom ceiling and wall was covered in black mold. The breakfast was not up to standard, my partner and I went down at 8:00, most of the food was finished and we had to ask that it be refilled as it was not being refilled on top of it the food was cold and the station where the buffet was set up was messy (sauce and food lying all over the table).
