DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER. A questionable owner & staff. Bettersteam makes you pay in advance. On the day of the booking, a car arrives that is literally being held together by tap and two very less than savoury characters who claim to be staff of Bettersteam arrived at my home. Peter who likes to pretend he is not the owner, informed me he forgot to tell me that their work van broken down and all their paper work., uniforms IDs etc were in that van. I raised my concerns regarding the shocking way they arrived at my property to Peter and that I was surprised that only two people would be here to do the carpet cleanings etc. and that there was no supervision but Peter "assured me" that they had been working for the company for 15 years. (This is laughable that I must simply take Peter's word over a phone that he is vetting his staff now). When I tried to corroborate Peter's stories with his staff, they could not say the same thing as Peter said. In addition to this Peter's staff told me if I do not like how they do things I must speak to Peter. Very professional...... When I called Peter again and told him in light of the fact that I cannot get positive identification from these men that they are who they say they are (also what was further laughable was my details were roughly written on some dirty broken piece of white paper). I informed Peter that he misrepresented himself and in addition to this, South Africa is currently notorious for crime and syndicates who mimic service providers that I am sure that he understands that these are less than desirable circumstances for any woman to simply allow these unvetted/unidentified characters into their house. I told him I am not comfortable to let these men into my house given the above circumstances and that he should simply refund me. What astonished me was his lack of regard for a woman's safety. Rather disgusting to say the least. I requested a refund. He has refused and lied for over a week now stating that he will take this up with management and get back to me. It is obvious he is an unscrupulous business man. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER!!!!!
On Sunday 29 November 2020, while driving back from a weekend away with the family in Clarens, we hit potholes, despite our attempt to avoid these. This rendered our car unable to drive as the rim had been cracked. I called Outsurance and spoke to Zhander - who was fantastic in arranging a towing company - Warden X Haust and Tyre to aid us. Henk from Warden X Haust and Tyre was fast, speedy and professional. He collected us and our call well under 45 mins and whisked us back to Jhb. Thank you to both Outsurance and Warden X Haust & Tyre for such wonderful service!

Website Hosting Services - SHOCKING! Worst client service! It takes you literally a YEAR to delete a website that MWEB is hosting. Each time you call, each consultant will provide you with different information to get the website deleted; only to discover that it is NOT the correct information! Pathetic service! Abdool (who apparently was a manager) was very rude and unhelpful and Y Sandla contradicts himself!
Worst experience ever with a rental estate agency. In particular, Malcolm Opperman. Very unprofessional, lacks the ability to keep the client up to date and is very misleading in correspondence and habitually contradicts their correspondence
