I had a problem with a gas cylinder that I exchanged a mica Hardware, Morning Glen, Sandton. I took in the gas bottle after using it for approximately 5 hours for heating purposes. When I asked if the gas could be leaking, I was old that the heater must be faulty. An elderly gentleman helped me. He told me to fetch the heater and bring it in. In error I never got a slip for the gas bottle. As an old lady I took his word . I only managed to go back into the store 5 days later. I asked for my gas bottle and was told that they had no idea what i was talking about. They ten told me that they would have to check their cameras. I went in again and no one has checked their cameras. I was told there was a fault with the camera. This incident happened 3 weeks ago. No one has bothered to return my calls. I sent them an email on Tuesday of this week. I gave them until 5 p.m. yesterday 19/8/2022 failing which i would report them. They are basically calling me a thief. How people pray on the elderly. I have been buying in the store for 17 years Your help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Lyn Cohen
I have had nothing but trouble from this internet provider. I have a tenant in 213 The Epic, Patricia Road, Atholl, Sandton. My tenant has not had internet connection for over 6 weeks. It has become so bad that the tenant has only given me half of the rent, and is threatening to stop paying altogether. I have written letters, spoken to the supplier and all to no avail. I would like my client to be satisfied, and aat the same time I will then be paid the usual rental.
I was overseas in December 2018 and went to a jewellery shop in Jerusalem. I purchased items for +- R13500. On my return to the hotel I checked my account and found that a transaction of R6500 had gone through without my authority. I immediately phoned the fraud department, and as soon as I got back to SA I continued to follow up this loss. I have written +- 12 emails with the words "We are looking into the matter"It is now August and I still have not been able to bring this fraud case to a head, and the bank has not had the courtesy of ever getting back to me. I have had 3 case numbers, and still no action. Where do I go from here. Many Thanks Lyn Cohen
I am at the end of my tether. I found out on 22 June 2019 that my MasterCard had expired, but knowing that it wasn’t due to expire until August. I went to book air tickets and could not purchase the. I eventually went into my account and to my horror I had a zero balance in my credit card account. I was told that the card had been migrated to Visa. Today is the 9 July and I still do not have my card. I am unable to buy groceries or make other purchases. If this is how Absa deal with their clients, I am afraid we don’t have a chance.
