If you are considering having an inverter and batteries/solar panels installed, I strongly recommend ART Solar. After not receiving replies from 3 local companies, we contacted ART Solar and despite them being situated over 100km's away from us, Amanda (sales) was quick to give us a quotation with different options, as well as to update them as we changed our minds. Amanda is extremely efficient and kept us updated every step of the way. Thobeka and his team were amazing during the installation - they're professional, friendly and competent. They also kept us well informed, ensured all safety measures were in place, left the place neat and tidy and Thobeka explained every facet of the installation to us. It was a pleasure to deal with such an efficient and professional company.
Amazing company! Each person I have spoken to has been patient, caring, friendly, professional & efficient & my claim was handled fast & smoothly. I don't understand when people complain about not receiving their free gifts or moaning about unexpected increase in premiums. Michelle Minnie was the first person I spoke to and she explained the annual increase (amongst other things) to me clearly; my policy points out the annual increase + Peter Whitecross phoned me before the increase to remind me and offer me an upgrade. Neither Minnie nor Peter were ever pushy, just patiently explained when I kept asking questions. Not only have I received each gift I was offered, I've received beautiful, unexpected gifts too, which really buoyed my spirits when I was feeling blue. Each person I've dealt with at Platinum has treated me like a person they genuinely care about...you're not just a number.
I didn't know that companies that truly care about their clients exist - Platinum Life does! I was phoned to be given the heads-up that my premiums were due to increase as per my policy & I burst into tears when I told the consultant I had just been diagnosed with grade 3 HER 2+ Er+ invasive ductal carcinoma (I had initially gone into 'survival mode' numbness & hadn't cried yet). She stayed on the line with me for ages, chatting to me until I felt more positive & assured, then emailed me the claim forms straight away. Once I lodged the claim forms, I received an email back in 4 minutes confirming my email had been received, I was sent SMS's to inform me where in the process my claim was and 7 working days after claiming, I was paid out. I thought that would be it, then last week Leandi phoned me once again to find out how I'm doing & asked my shoe size and top size... I thought I'd receive a pair of 'one-size-fits-all' slippers and a Platinum Life T-shirt... I was blown away when I opened the courier box to find a beautiful hand-written card and a gift-wrapped box, not a brown cardboard box, a pretty silver one tied with a satin ribbon. Inside the box was pretty PJ's, warm Ugg boot type slippers, a soft beanie, an infinity scarf, box of tea - all from Woolie's, a mug, hand cream, an inspirational book & gorgeous bookmark, plus a Musica gift card!!! The surprises I've had this year, until today, weren't welcome...today I believe in surprises again. Platinum Life seems to only employ efficient, professional, yet caring and compassionate people as everyone I've dealt with have been amazing and really give you their time and attention when talking to you, but I'd especially like to give a huge thank you to Leandi Schoonees and Landi Janse van Rensburg for being so wonderfully supportive and caring!!! You are truly inspirational.
