Do not buy anything online. They sell “brilliant” items from the website, when you receive it, it’s absolutely ******* and not what was shown on the website. It doesn’t even work in South Africa, Makro won’t allow me to review the product on their online website. I have been trying for 2 months now to return and get a refund, all Makro say when you phone is that that item is from a third party and not Makro, they can’t do anything about it. I have been emailing daily with not a single response from Makro yet via email.
Poor service and no communication. After moving out the rental agent kept my damages deposit, and refuse to have any communication. Months of battling, daily e-mails. Phone calls and messages no response is given from the rental agent. My rental deposit is earning interest in the agents account while I am waiting for my money to be paid back to me. This is highly unprofessional, I would not recommend this rental agency as you are bound to have communication problems.
Very disappointed in the rental agent, Melanies Home Rentals. No feedback to date regarding Damages deposit. Impossible to get hold of the agent. Been batling for months now, since April 2019. A complaint of leaking pipes in the wall next to electrical point was reported to the agent begining of March 2019. After weeks of battling to get a response from the agent, after telling them that we will have to move out since our safety is not in their interest, a plumber was finally send out after a month of complaining about the problem. The plumber informed us that it was quite a big job and would take weeks to fix. No response again from the agent during the month, not even to give us the report of what the plumber discovered. End of April, about 55 days after we lodged a complaint about the water leaking next to electrical point we finished our notice period and moved out. After several battles, emails, phone calls, whatsapps, smses we received half of our damages deposit. The other half was kept, because the landlord could not rent the place out while they were renovating the flat to fix the problem of leaking pipes next to the electrical point. ( We received pictures during the month of May from a private source that renovations was being done in the flat) To date, 05 August 2019, we still havent had any feedback from the agent when our other half of the deposit would be refunded to us. In this period we have been losing interest on our money that is in the account of the agant.
Weeks of contacting for damages deposit refund from M H Rentals, no response yet. Would not recommend this renting agency to anybody looking to rent a house.
The rental agency has a lack of communication. They are very disorganised and not responsive to complaints. Took months to respond to leaking pipes in walls and then no feedback. Then taking months after notice and moving out to refund full deposit, still no feedback. Would not reccomend anybody to use this rental agengy.
