After my previous review / complaint about mileage tampering i was contacted by Tariq who advised me that all will be sorted and it was only a mistake. It was resolved eventually after they blamed everything on the warranty company Motorvaps. I was told that it was a error from the warranty company's side and they will rectify the problem. I was told by tariq that southgate is so sorry for all the inconvenience on 12 March 2026 that they will cover the shortfall of the quotation thats needed to repair the Audi. Side note: ( i’ve been without a car since 2nd of march 2026 because documents received by southgate had different mileage on and my original warranty claim was declined) I received feedback from motorvaps on 13 March 2026 that my documents has been updated with mileage of 183 129 and i can go to the repair centre to submit a claim. I did that and received an approved amount of R4850 that the warranty would pay Please note total repair cost was sent to southgate prior to approval, two quotations 1st one from audi centre in welkom amount of R19 087.13 and WDP Cars amount of R11 471.25 Tariq responded that they will assist with the shortfall if i use quotation 2 from WDP cars, again i was lenient and decided to do that. Yesterday after receiving no feedback from southgate once again i sent Tariq a message requesting feedback on my email i sent to him and Johan (not one of the two responded to the mail) Tariq then called me and said he is out of office can i tell him what the shortfall is so we can sort it out. I gave the shortfall +- 6k and then he responded with can we please go 50/50 with the amount, i was shook at first because thats not what he agreed to when he begged me to take down my previous review but yet again i was understanding and lenient. I agreed and told him to pay it directly to the repair centre and he responded quickly with a no he will pay the money back to me once the review is removed. Shortly after that call i received a mail from johan that said he received feedback from Tariq they can assist with R2500 bare in mind the total shortfall was R6621.25. I sent a new mail requesting that the shortfall should be split evenly between us as i think that is fair and like before no response, if i call no Answer. Looks like they just want everything to go their way and whoever gets in the way can just be ignored. I would highly recommend people to go read the facebook reviews and consider alternative dealerships before making use of southgate wheels. I have relevant messages and recordings available of empty promises made to me.
Bought a 2013 Audi Q5 from southgate wheels in October 2024. Car was advertised with only 169 thousand kilos on the clock, i requested a photo and received one of 172 415 thousand kilos, i then spoke to a audi centre in welkom they said its not possible because that car was in for general maintenance at a audi centre in Mbombela on 3 June 2021 and already had 175 592 thousand kilos on the clock. I spoke to Kiasha and explained what i found and she convinced me that it was only a mistake and the wrong Odometer photo was sent to me. She then sent me a new Odometer with 183 129 thousand kilos on the clock. I decided to proceed with the purchase of this vehicle as we all make mistakes and it was nothing major. Now 1year 5 Months later the car had a issue with a water pump again nothing major because i was advised by southgate to take a warranty. I then wanted to submit a claim but to my surprise when i gave them the current Kilos on the vehicle the lady said thats not possible because i bought it with 235 011 thousand kilos on the clock back in 2024 ? I spoke to Kiasha again and she again gave me a answer that everything was fine and all will be sorted that was the last of it now i can call to no avail yet if i use a different number she answers and responds with a excuse as soon as i tell her who i am. She does not respond to messages I'm just left to sort out their mess. The short and long of this story is i now paid for a warranty to assist me if something should go wrong that i cant use because the cars kilos was tampered with. Be warned confirm Odometer readings thoroughly before purchasing because once you sign your on your own.

Good day To whom it may concern. I would like to thank cell clinic Welkom for the professional service that I received with my visit to the Welkom office. What I cannot deal with is the time its taking for my samsung S9 device to be repaired, the device is under warranty and the biometrics reader seems to be faulty not reading my fingerprint And by doing so I struggle to unlock my phone thus I sent it for repairs. The device was booked in for repairs on 09/07/2019 and is still not repaired, I received numerous call telling me that the device is still pending repair as they are waiting for stock, this is unacceptable for me. Samsung is a big name and I’ve never trusted any other brand, my previous repair on my s7 edge was 3 days the screen gave me a problem and was repaired quick and Hassel free. I am a manager for a Multichoice agency in Welkom and that’s why my phone is critical – I use two mobile devices “ both samsung” and I need both numbers as its necessary in my line of work, I cannot go without my phone for to long. The lady from samsung that gave me a call can’t give me a estimate on how long its going to take, so what should I do just sit and wait, like I said this is not acceptable for me, my device is not cheap and I am without it now, struggling, missing calls and emails that’s important. I would appreciate feedback as soon as possible, I did receive a sms from cell clinic that states “ Unfortunately we are still waiting for our samsung spares to arrive, we are not sure when we are going to receive our spares. We do have limited amount of loan phones available. We do apologize for the inconvenience caused “ This I believe is poor service – im not sure where the delay in spares is coming from but I need you to attend to this ASAP.
