i am very disapointed in service at FNB a bank where i hold all my personal and business accounts, even my Vehicle insurance is with FNB. On application for a credit card in January 2019 i sent all the required documentation with no further response even after followups i made. i then made a formal complaint upon which i was called in June 2019 and asked to re submit my application which i did and sent through all requested documents, today is the 8 of July a month down the line and still no response. Last week i made a similar application to a different bank where i hold no account and today just 7 days later i hold my card in my hand. its so disappointing to be recognized by another bank yet my own bank that i have banked with for more than 5 years holds no recognition. some things you really dont expect to struggle based on a relationship you supposedly have built over time. Personally i have been made to feel insignificant as i think any form of communication would have made a very big difference, notwithstanding positive or negative income. I have always held FNB in very high regards but this time i am quite dissapointed and just could not keep this silent.
