De Oude Kraal looks like like the perfect place to treat my wife for our aniversary. So, I completed the booking form on their website and got no response. I phoned the next day to make the booking and was met with very short and unhelpful responses with a hint of sarcasm. I sincerly hope that this call was not a reflection of the rest of the service I can expect, but in this price-class I'm not going to risk finding out. Will spend our money elsewhere.
I enquired about a special using the Whatsapp number on the website and got a lightning-fast response from the owner. At first, I was skeptical because the service and the value were way better than I am used to. But the ordering, purchasing, and delivery flow was professional and kept me in the loop ... and two days later I got my brand new laptop safely wrapped in about a ton of bubble wrap. Awesome work guys. I'll be sure to make another purchase here.
I signed up for the 4-times data deal with MTN which is supposed to provide 4 x (10Gb AnyTime and 20Gb NightExpress) data i.e. 40 by 80 Gb. Today is the 17th and I am supposed to receive my full allowance after receiving my pro-rate amount when I signed up. Instead received 40Gb AnyTime but only 10Gb NightExpress. I sincerely hope this is a technical issue that will be fixed because otherwise, it is false advertising and stealing.
I've been trying to open an account for 3 weeks now. But everytime after I answer the security questions I get a popup saying "We are experiencing technical difficulties" So I thought, "let me drive to PnP and try the kiosk". Same thing! I was very excited about these guys but turns out it's too good to be true. Oh and phoning the helpline just gets you a stream of confusing electronic voice options.
