This store is amazing. I have purchased various devices from them over the past 5 years, never an issue and they have great prices. I bought a phone yesterday afternoon to send to my Aunt in East London, and it arrived this morning at 09H30! I have never experienced such exceptional service before from any online store.
It looks like Auto & General have joined the ranks of the SABC and Telkom. I am not able to cancel my policy. When I phone, I have to hold for over 20 minutes. then go through screening only to be told that the person cannot help me and must transfer me, but they are busy. I get promised that they will call me back, and it does not happen. I go to the website and send a message for someone to call me back, does not happen. I call again, and get get cut off after requesting "Retensions" department. Auto & General are purposefully making it make it extremely difficult to cancel a policy, and this is against the law. They are knowingly frustrating a simple process of cancellation of a policy. Beware all, the Hotel California that Auto an General is.
Ordered 4 bottles of wine, one arrived broken by delivery guy. Since 2 weeks, I cannot get hold of Mr D on email, and call centre agent refuses to escalate to manager. They do not take responsibility for their drivers' mistakes, I am out of pocket. School fees paid, will delete app. Never use them again, there are plenty alternatives, Uber Eats and Debonairs.
