On 19th Feb 2026 I experienced a very poor level of service from a cashier at the Dis-Chem branch in Watercrest Mall KZN. Firstly there was No "Hello. How are you" greeting as cashiers always do. There was a discrepancy between the price of an item displayed on the shelf and the price scanned at the till. I had to go to the shelf myself and retrieve the price tag. Instead of assisting with the problem the cashier Ntokozo Mole displayed bad attitude when I asked her why she was not being very helpful. Instead of resolving what was a simple issue she called another staff member to complete the transaction. I've been a customer of Dis-Chem for many years and was very disappointed at such a poor display of customer service, indifference and arrogance from a Dis-Chem staff member.
We recently had a lightning strike in which several items in our home were damaged. I submitted my claim to Kayser Baird and the procedure from assessor, damage inspection and broker went smoothly despite being over the festive season when most staff are on leave. I'd like to thank Charmain Henning for her prompt, efficient and friendly service and consistent feedback during the process.
