I have been an MTN client for many years and every time there is an issue that I need sorting, it becomes a nightmare! When this happens, I promise myself I will move to another Network provider and end up not doing it. This time around, I will do so. Two months ago, I had a billing problem following an upgrade and after many precious hours wasted between calls and visits to the Irene branch and the iStore (where the upgrade was done), I ended up with 2 billing dispute query reference numbers, without any follow up from either to date. Needless to say that my services were suspended and I had no option but to pay what they billed to have the suspension reversed. Two weeks ago, I was a victim of *****, with an addition of two new contracts to my account. Again, following days of calls and visits to a branch, I reached breaking point! MTN's Customer Care service is riddled with rude *********** agents, who don't deserve theirs jobs. However, this time around I ended up at the Mall of Africa branch and was pleasantly surprised at the excellent service I received from the store Supervisor, Rapula. In less than 24 hours, the *****ulent numbers and respective charges were removed from my account. So, Rapula deserves a 5-star review for that. (please see his review). As for MTN, as a company, the only star you get is thanks to him!
From my recent experience with Autogate, I would certainly use them again and recommend their services, as they assisted when two other businesses were not even interested. After listening to my problem and providing sound advice, Kobus immediately arranged for a technician to come out, even though it was after normal working hours. The technician, Brian, was knowledgeable, competent and very respectful.
I am a fan of Stokke products, but their Flexi Bath is just not practical at all, except if used as a 'splash' tub. I bought it 2 years ago before my grandchild was born and found it stashed away today in a cupboard, because it just never served its purpose. The amount of water recommended, at least for a newborn, is not enough to keep the bath open and if you are a mother trying to bath your baby alone and carry the bath, you'll only manage to spill water all over. This purchase was a waste of money and I would not recommend it to anyone. To top it all, when I tried to get a credit/refund for it back then, the store in question refused to give it to me, asking for a video of the mother trying to bath the baby as evidence!
