Im very impressed and Im so happy to be with TRA! I have summitted claims for my daughter's operations and its all sorted. I had a previous gap cover and I was so upset with them that I left that policy. I can recommend TRA! I'm finally home with my gap cover and will not want to leave! I recommend TRA!
I wrote a review on 26 April 2022.... I received a call that said they will sort my problem and they will be in touch ...... never got a call again....nor did I get a resolution.. Original complaint: In November 2021, Dashfibre ISP migrated a number of accounts to Home Connect. My account was migrated without a communication informing me as a client that my new service provider was Home Connect. I proceeded to pay my previous ISP for December 2021. I have followed up continuously for 5 months for a refund. Home Connect asked me to fill in a form to facilitate the refund in December. Im tired of following up and this not a happy experience. Im highly disappointed that I have wasted my time and money. I started with Stratum Benefits in Jan 2020 as I wasn’t sure my previous gap cover was going be there for me when I needed them, so Stratum Benefits looked professional and I tried them out. I’m regretful that I did. I had a claim for an operation on my nose in Aug 2020. Stratum indicated to the ENT that the claim was going to paid but looking for an out, they contacted my GP and misinterpreted her submission with the ultimate goal to not to pay my claim. Reason for rejection is that I “did not disclose my condition and it was pre-existing condition”. I have NEVER been diagnosed with a chronic condition relating to my nose/ sinus and I have NEVER been referred to a ENT. Apparently suffering from congestion when you have the flu is seen as a pre-existing condition. I sent an email a week ago today to say that I’m disappointed in the outcome and I want to cancel my relationship with Stratum. I haven’t received a response yet. Absolute silence. I wasted my time and money
I submitted a claim in May and I still have not received any communication regarding my claim. I follow up a number of times every week. I have followed their escalation process but I receive no feedback and no communication. Every time I call the call centre, the answer is... "I have escalated this, someone from the claims department will get back to you"..... and no one has called me or emailed me with feedback.
