I am still waiting for Bradlows after 4 months to come and collect my 3 seater ‘leather’ couch which has cracked for the third time since I bought them in 2019. Poor quality and yet I’m still paying R20 000 for it. I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase from them. It will always be back n forth. Repair after 3 months you send it again. Very annoying !
After complaining on this platform about purchasing “leather couch” for R20k at Bradlows in Cape Town Golden Acre, and having them having some cracks and crevices, surely meaning I was misled, they sent people to collect the couch for repairs. I have been waiting two weeks for the couch to come back. Tried calling the call centre and it rings unanswered, and yet when they take your money, here are no negotiation. After finishing off this installment, am done with Bradlows and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!
Purchased a so called leather couch in Bradlows Cape Town CBD. Last year I reported the 3 seater was cracked and they repaired it. Now the 2 seater is cracked and they don’t even want to help. Why??? You guys sold me leather couches for R20 000 yet it’s only 2 years, and I am experiencing the wear and tear. Wouldn’t recommend “leather couches” from Bradlows to anyone. On top of that I am still paying.
I submitted my final Master thesis with the UWC School of Public Health in November 2019 with the hope that I’ll be graduating in April 2020. Since COVID 19 happened everyone got their results and certificates online. Everyone in my class got their results apart from me. Only got an email from the admin “sorry-no information for graduation”. I was torn. How can everyone else get their results and I don’t yet we all submitted at the same time. According to my speculation, someone somewhere didn’t do their job!!!. I sent my Professor and Supervisor, and ccd the administrator my results request. Of which, my Professor willingly sent me all my results and communication from both examiners and even sent me the link to upload my thesis of the student portal so I’m cleared to graduate in September 2020. And guess what, the administrator emailed me to say ‘hold on’ on uploading my thesis as there were some administrative issues they were dealing with and she would advise. This was in April and until June 7 I’m still waiting. This is frustrating as technically, I haven’t submitted my thesis like all alumni. What if come September I’m still not cleared to graduate as my results have not even been uploaded on the student portal. I know that there has been lockdown but people shouldn’t be hiding behind that an an excuse for their non professionalism and efficiencies.
After having complained on hellopeter on my leather couch I bought from Bradlows that started to have cracks and crevices, having bought in almost a year, I received a call from them detailing that they will come and collect the couch and assess the damage and respond as needed. I am happy to say they collected the couch and today brought it back having been repaired couch and looks brand new. I just want to take this opportunity and thank the hellopeter team for this platform. I’m not sure how this situation would have gone without you ????. Thank you Bradlows for your swift response into this matter!
I purchased couches at Bradlows St Georges, Cape Town on 14th July 2018. I was told and also it was written on the couches that there were leather and was also advised to buy leather guard care which cost an additional R350. The total amount of the couches cost R19000. Now just after a year the couches are cracking on one seat and I realize these cracks are moving on to the other seats. I called the shop and surprisingly, although I have them covered by insurance, they don't help wear and tear but promised to come back with feedback. That was beginning of August. I stayed almost 2 weeks for their feedback until I made another call today the 27th August only to be told by the sales person that they have been busy! Come on people......this is supposed to be LEATHER!!!
