This is a scam! I sent over R2000 a month ago and every day its a new excuse. One or no replies for days and they literally just ignore you when following up. Please do not fall for this scam!
Shady sales associates at the Claremont branch in Cape Town. using people recently signed up for Vitality and charging them more than what was advised in person. When trying to query this,they either do not respond or tell you to physically come in to the gym so they can ' sort this out' possibly telling more lies. I have been charged over 2 weeks ago and have only visited the gym once. I was told that if my Vitality did not kick in by the Tuesday, the membership was cancelled. Guess what? My Vitality was not active (only from the 1st) and I was charged for a normal membership. I wasn't looking for any loopholes but they keep bringing up things like I can bring whoever I want with me, they would supply me with endless day passes and even told me theyd sign me up at a cheaper gym, and I'll be able to attend anywhere because no one is monitoring this during covid. Shady shady behaviour and I was stupid enough to actually trust them and sign this document. I regret this with all of my being. I just want my money back including the debit order fee I was charged. And be done with virgin active. Never ever again
Handed in my PS4 close to the end of the month as my family ran into a rough patch. Asked for R1000 against my PS4 valued at R7000. My loan had expired and before notifying me, my PS4 was sold the next day. When I came a day later to retrieve my baby (without realising that the date had passed) they told me it was already sold and nothing they could. They then advised me if any other ps4 was to come in, I would have a chance to buy it from them. No contact, call or e-mail as yet. Whole situation left a sour taste in my mouth and even hurts to bring it up again.
Applied for an ADSL contract with Telkom. Got approved and after months of excuses, with no installation, I decided to cancel. I then receive my first bill, and it takes me months to get into contact with anyone to say that Im being billed for something I cant use. This was in October 2018. I am not trying to apply for vehicle finance and keep getting declined to my contract with Telkom. Can't seem to get through to anyone who has a heart and at this rate, I'll settle for anyone who can read. I receive confirmation of cancellation but am still receiving bills every month. Absolutely ridiculous and shameful customer service.
