Terrible
As Small Business owners of a Property Inspection company, we had the very unfortunate experience of being contracted by the Soukops in Seapoint to do inspections for them, not only did they *********ly request inspections be done post tenants' occupation, but we also struggled multiple times to be paid for our services- and are still unpaid for our services. Honour and moral ethics are in short supply at the Soukops Agency- Based on our awful experience as service providers I would strongly advise to avoid dealing with them- Some might say this is the wrong platform, but it is very clear that a plethora of others felt this was the right platform to highlight the manner in which this group conducts themselves. It is a shame that we were not knowledgeable enough in the realm of law and tried to take them to small claims court. fortunately, small claims court is not the only court of law.

SCAMMERS THIEVES STAY AWAY
Also doing business as Electricians & Plumbers 24/7 They responded to the call very fast, Sent someone out who over-quoted for an oven repair and light switch. They claim to be registered but aren't. They requested a deposit which I did not pay initially as I waited to hear back if they had the parts. I called another electrician who would not repair my oven since they had cut some wires. I called them back and someone else came, He insisted on a cash deposit of R1200 , I requested a receipt, Nearly 3 weeks later and I am still waiting. fraud!

faulty fan
I purchased a I purchased a floor standing fan in Sep 2014 - I used it for a mnth and then went away for 3 mnths returning FEB 2015- the fan worked for a further 2 or 3 weeks then stopped working, I contacted AEG who advised me to take the fan to my nearest repair centre ( SEAPOINT ) as it has a 2 year warranty. The place i was advised to shlep this big fan to did not exist, I was then told to take it to another repair place in Kenilworth area. I was then contacted approx 3 weeks later telling me the motor burnt out and was not worth repairing - and i must collect the fan. I contacted AEG again asking if they manufacture products to last a few months or did i purchase a faulty product ? despite my emails to Christo. Engelbrecht. I have received NO RESPONSE. I would strongly advise against purchasing any AEG products as they are clearly of POOR QUALITY and the company seems to hold no responsibility for their products as well as the service being non existent

BAD WORKMANSHIP
I renovated my flat in 2014 - I contracted AMCON - ABRI MOSTERT CONSTRUCTION for the renovations, He made use of Prestige Renovators. The work in my flat is less that satisfactory- Tiling is bad , i was left with un even damaged porcelain tiles, The crete stone has cracked EVERYWHERE , I have a bulk head that is falling down. PAINT PEELING off, damaged floors, skew walls and un even ceilings and they abandoned the project. The worst workmanship I have ever seen which i have had to pay to have fixed all over again. I would not recommend this company to do any work in your home whatsoever. There was also THEFT !

Less than acceptable work done
I renovated my flat in 2014- I was charged a fortune and the workmanship is disgusting, everything is falling apart, I have cracks EVERYWHERE - a Bulkhead that is falling down. There was no project management. Was ripped off , quoted one fee and add on's for work and no deductions where work was not done. Builders abandoned the job before finishing due to not being paid by AMCON despite me having to pay him weekly, thus the workers performed badly and the quality of work declined- Floor was damaged, windows badly inserted, THEFT of goods ! I would never advise you to use this company - you will pay a premium price and get below average work , and like myself you will have to pay someone else to repair the damage and bad workmanship ! The work was also not finished during the time frame given.

Disgusting Con artist
I employed this company to renovate my flat, Not only did they not finish on time but the sub contractors that Abri Mostert had employed to do the job walked off the job due to non payment by him. He then came in his personal capacity to finish the very expensive job in a less than professional mannor, after charging me an arm and leg, the workmanship is disgusting, i have cracks all over my walls, unsealed areas, they damaged my wooden floors , removed goods from my property without permission - incomplete shoddy work, I would not let this man or company so much as paint a door, I then struggled to get my keys back from him. A DEFINITE NO GO !
