Demo presentation great, paid options quite expensive
Very happy with the demo presentation. I'll be trialling the free tools for 3 months and send out Review Invites via the Dashboard as well as a FB link on my page. The paid options does seem to be quite expensive though.

UNSOLICITED E-MAILS GALORE, DESPITE THE POPI ACT
On 21 June 2021, I received a number of unsolicited emails from Nikkel Consult. No link to unsubscribe from these emails was provided and I therefore requested to be unsubscribed from their database. I followed up daily as I received no reply whatsoever. Requests to acknowledge my emails were simply ignored, until I decided to let the company know that I would leave a 1-star review on Hello Peter. Eventually, I received a reply on 24 June 2021 - simply acknowledging my request. Compliance to the POPI Act became mandatory on 1 July 2021. Failure to comply with the requirements of the POPI Act could have dire consequences. Although one cannot and shouldn't shy away from the legal aspects of the Act, POPIA should be seen as an opportunity to identify, clean-up and manage information better, and in doing so, improve business processes. Nikkel Consult could not be bothered. On 14 August 2021, I was solicited yet again via email by this company. Steer clear, if you can. Ian de Jager CEO, Chairman & Founder Oom Boggom (Pty) Ltd

Atrocious service
What seems to be a no-brainer, has turned into a nightmare of epic proportions. I simply wanted a client's domain to be moved across from Axxess, to my VPS server at 1-Grid. The original ticket for the transfer was logged on 30 June 2021. As of writing, it's the afternoon of 12 July 2021, almost 2 weeks after I requested the transfer. Various promises were made and not kept, including a phone call from management. 1-Grid has since managed to bungle this up so completely, we're left without a website and e-mail accounts. In desperation, I started to rebuild the client's website over the course of the weekend. The service is atrocious, to say the least. I'm extremely upset and won't recommend anyone doing business with 1-Grid in future.

5-star support from Eldrid Daniels
Excellent support from Eldrid who was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and patient to boot. He managed to sort out quite a tricky problem with regards to our DNS, mail server and Cloudflare. 5/5 - will most definitely make use of him again. :-) Regards, Ian de Jager (oom Boggom)

1-Grid is number 1
I've been hosting a VPS with 1-Grid for some years now, and the various 1-grid teams have always dealt with my queries promptly and efficiently. Taqiyah always follows up within a business day to ensure that my request/ticket was 100% resolved and to ensure that I'm satisfied with their service. 1-Grid is number 1 for a good reason. Well done.

Excellent service received from AJ and Rory Nasson. I've been hosting a VPS with 1-Grid for some years now, and the NOC team has always gone above and beyond. Thank you!
