On 21 June 2021, I received a number of unsolicited emails from Nikkel Consult. No link to unsubscribe from these emails was provided and I therefore requested to be unsubscribed from their database. I followed up daily as I received no reply whatsoever. Requests to acknowledge my emails were simply ignored, until I decided to let the company know that I would leave a 1-star review on Hello Peter. Eventually, I received a reply on 24 June 2021 - simply acknowledging my request. Compliance to the POPI Act became mandatory on 1 July 2021. Failure to comply with the requirements of the POPI Act could have dire consequences. Although one cannot and shouldn't shy away from the legal aspects of the Act, POPIA should be seen as an opportunity to identify, clean-up and manage information better, and in doing so, improve business processes. Nikkel Consult could not be bothered. On 14 August 2021, I was solicited yet again via email by this company. Steer clear, if you can. Ian de Jager CEO, Chairman & Founder Oom Boggom (Pty) Ltd

This guy is not adhearing to the POPI Act law. He sent me 2 Whatsapp messages while I did not ask him for information. I certainly did not give my number for him. Also my question is, if he breaks this law, how many other laws does he break?

POOR SERVICE RECEIVED FROM BROKERAGE, NO ASSISTANCE WITH CLAIM AND THIS IS MY FIRST CLAIM AND A SMALL CLAIM AS THAT. I FEAR TO SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I HAVE A BIGGER CLAIM AND FOR THIS REASON WILL BE SEEKING COVER ELSE WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
