Roadside Assit
On 29 December 2021, I hit a pothole on the road between Brits and Thabazimbi. I called BMW Roadside Assist to get an emergency loan Tyre so I can get to work. I spoke to a lady at BMW Customer Services. She informed me she's still going to inform Roadside Assist. Over 30 minutes later, I then received a call from a gentleman who was supposed to come and help. He said his name is Lubabulo and the reason he's calling was to let me know he doesn't have a Tyre for because people don't return Tyres when BMW loans them. He didn't ask me where I was and if I was safe. He didn't ask me if I needed to be towed to the nearest dealer. For a Medical Doctor on call. BMW SA has failed me dismally. I thought as an Essential Services Provider I would be prioritized. BMW Roadside Assist should make it clear that none of its customers male customers will receive loan tyres because this is the second time it's happening. My fiancee has called BMW Roadside Assist 3x times for a loan Tyre and she was loaned a tyre everytime. I called for the second time since today for a loan tyre and I'm always told there is not tyre available. Truly Truly disappointed at BMWSA. It should be made known if BMW nolonger gives loan tyres to its clients so we can have plan B for days like this because I feel I was sold a lie when I bought my BMW 320d Mzansi Edition. Now I have to skip work to actually sort myself out getting a tyre. BMW SA needs to do better!!!
