Stay away from Safety Brake and Clutch. At all costs.
A day and a half, wasted. After a lot of looking busy and smiling, they managed absolutely nothing. My car is in exactly the same as when I brought it in. These buffoons pose as 'brake experts', they are not. I paid top money to find this out. Typical African, third world, workmanship. Lies and deceit. This business cannot be trusted.

Beware. A snake in the grass.
It is with a heavy heart that I write this review of Echo Prestress (Pty) Limited's contribution to my project. I have asked for the contact details of two of their directors, both Peter Lord's and that of Monique Eggebeen, to discuss potentially life threatening issues.* No response. Their Client facing communications range from abismil to nonexistent. Closely matched by their careless and shoddy workmanship. Or is it just another case of a mediocre African enterprise, purporting to be 'world class', delivering mediocre, third world quality. Currently, there seems to be no recourse. Very disappointing to be let down like this. They have thrown together some poorly cast and poorly fitted slabs onto my home. Something that I will be concerned about and see, every day as a reminder. An atrocity that will haunt me for the rest of my life. Now, I am unsure of what the remedy could be, if at all, there is one. I can't see how it will help for me to instruct Echo to remove its rubbish contribution and refund the R187 000.00 odd, that I paid, in full, up front. * Circa three ton precast slabs, unevenly laid, resting on a 110 millimetre, non-load bearing wall, in a number of places. Frightening.

McCarthy's Excellent Service
Last week, the week leading up to Christmas, I had the absolute pleasure of doing business with McCarthy's in Strijdom Park. Their Customer Care, accommodation and communication is only surpassed by their impeccable workmanship. So rare to find these days. I will most certainly return with repeat business and put the word out within my social circles. I am elated that I have found you guys. This kind of good service needs to be brought to the attention of the company principal. Thank you.
