Feel-At-Home Properties is a dishonest business. I gave one calendar month notice as confirmed on Whatsapp with Makkie on 14 Dec 2022 and asked if deposit can be kept for payment for January. She advised that this was not possible and that I could only move on 31 January 2023 I subsequently gave a written notification of cancellation on 03 January 2023 for 31 January 2023. My ex advised Feel-At-Home Properties that she would not move and would only be able to move on 28 February 2023. Gustav Kriel then sent an e-mail stating very clearly that she had to also move before 10h00 on 31 January 2023. On 02 February 2023 I was advised by Gustav Kriel that I had to pay the rent for February as the contract stated 2 months notice. How he thinks that this is valid is beyond me. My deposit has not been repayed, I have been threatened by lawyers and I have now turned to the Gauteng Rental Housing Tribunal. I never received a signed lease agreement from Feel-At-Home Properties and there is therefor no contract to fall back on, the written confirmations by both Makkie and Gustav both state 31 January and the check-out inspection was cancelled by Gustav. To make matters worse Feel-At-Home Properties issued a fraudulant invoice for the month of February for rent, check-out inspection and cleaning as well as legal costs incurred by them! These people are dishonest, act unlawfully and unethically. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

I ordered and paid a delivery fee for delivery on Friday 04 October. On the day I received SMS that my address could not be found and that they tried to contact me and was unable to. These are blatant lies and possibly due to the delivery driver being in a Friday mood of wanting to do as little as possible. A very quick search on Google Maps or a phone call would have resolved this issue. Despite numerous deliveries by numerous different courier companies for a very large amount of clients working in this massive head office of a state owned entity this specific delivery could not be done. When asked to change the delivery address Takealot advised that this is not possible. I requested management to contact me however I seriously doubt they will even read this complaint... I will not deal with Takealot again. I'll rather pay more than be subjected to such pathetic service.
