Dear Vodacom, you are quick to reply to my HelloPeter review, but still nothing have been physically done to rectify my issue. I received 1 mail from someone asking for information, this was supplied same day, and now after 2 reminders and almost a week later no feedback. I was a very happy client, but my experience is taking a turn. As in a previous post I've requested my line to be cancelled and now require confirmation. Please supply the confirmation.
Generally I had a great experience with Vodacom. Now things have taken a turn. I recently moved to Canada and before leaving cancelled my contracts via the call center (they were both already completed so no outstanding money). I'm just looking for confirmation from Vodacom that this have been processed, but I'm not getting any feedback from the customer care e-mail address, and the chat function consultants just ignore my chat when they figure out I'm not there to take a new product. I've been struggling for days to no avail. Can someone please come back to me?
My experience was very good. The processes that they have in place, the platform, and ease of doing business is top notch. I loaded my details, FICA'ed, verified my bank details, and was trading in a few days. When I had to withdraw I loaded my request at 10:00, and by the evening my money was in my account (I'm at ABSA and they are, so assume this is why it was super quick). I read quiet a few reviews and most seemed bad, but also have some family members that have used them in the past with good experiences. I tried them, and although their feedback is a little slow, it's not horrible, and the rest of the steps worked perfectly for me.
In general the service and equipment is good, and the staff at my local gym quiet friendly. One big issue however is that the kiddies room only look after kids up to 8 years of age, after that they need to sit in front of the PC (without supervision, and they get enough digital stimulation already), or roam around the gym within certain areas only as they're not allowed in the weight section and can't touch the machines. What do I do with my daughter? Maybe Virgin should get one of the staff members that sit/stand around, and let them lead a semi-active class somewhere to keep the 8-14 year olds busy. This way you give the parents time to train, and get kids to enjoy physical activity from a young age to create the next generation of gym bunnies......
