In 2021 I had clearview burglar proofing installed in my house. December 2022 there was a landslide where the Loffelstein wall failed and collapsed onto our house. The downstairs windows were covered with building rubble and wet soil. Now more than three years later, that same clearview burglar proofing is still keeping that extremely heavy building rubble from falling into the house as no repairs has been done as yet. Thank you Xpanda for a great product.
I sent an email to Platinum Life to cancel my policy due to financial reasons. I got a call from Lenice who assisted me to keep my cancer policy at less than half the price that I’m currently paying. Ensuring that I don’t loose all my previous premiums made and making it possible to still have the cover benefits. Thank you very much Lenice! Your understanding had me baffled. This is my third post regarding an online order from Makro. I’ve been waiting since 9 October 2019 for my laptop that was ordered online. Several calls have also been made. All to no avail as the courier company needs to contact me, which they never do. Please can you sort this out or refund me my money? Regards Corné Stroebel

Terrible service with an online order!! I ordered a laptop online and made an immediate online payment on Wednesday 9 October 2019, with the estimated delivery time within 2-5 working days. The very same day I got an e-mail stating: “Your order MAK******x is on its way... Your order is on its way to you and has been handed to our courier partners; you should receive an SMS on the day that they will be delivering your order to your address. We hope that you've enjoyed the experience and that we'll see you again.“ Since Monday I have been phoning the Customer Care line on a daily basis with the promise that they will contact me before the next day at 10:00. Up to date I have not received one phone call or message from Makro or their “courier partners”. This is absolutely pathetic! I stay in JHB, not in some distant, unknown place far away from civilization. I have made previous online purchases from Makro which I went to collect at a Makro close to me without any problems. This is why I made this purchase, I was however not given the option of Collection. Makro is supposed to be a trusted company with a good reputation, which clearly doesn’t seem to be the case when I look at all the other complaints on hellopeter. Why does poor service have to be acceptable in this country???? I paid good money and demand good service in return!!
