September 2024; I had fallen behind on my accounts and going through a divorce overwhelmed with finances going forward a friend adviced me to go for debt review. During application the amount I was sent the document which details how much they are going to save me, and my account payments. So I made a phone call telling them the accounts included 2 of them I was not in agreement about especially on the concerning how much I’m praying per month meaning the totally monthly payment they have summed up is not true and going forward I am basically committing to long repayment terms that does not save me much. The person I talked with then talked percentages that left me believing they are actually saving me. But few months down the line I start to realise I committed to something out of big words, my own personal stress I didn’t make a right decision. So I then started paying my creditors myself and then look at how do I get myself out of this. Today I call them asking a copy of the court order. They said they only make an application haven’t gotten the court order requested them to send me the application form they made. I am shocked from what I’m seeing from the application 1. The income amount they wrote is less than my actual income 2. Deductions: the tax amount they wrote more amount that what I pay with over R3k, my pension fund contribution they wrote more than what I pay, they even mention I contribute to UIF of which I don’t. Making it seem like there are so many deductions from my salary making me remain with less money to cover my debt. 3. Expenses: I have 1 child and they wrote I have 2 children, and the amounts that they noted as my expenditure is way above what I spend. H
App**** for ID on the 19 February its status changed on march 10 saying document printing process complete. It’s now 3 weeks and still saying document printing complete
When I bought my car in 2020 January I had a tracker installed by them chose the option of MX3 that came with a mobiliser. Until I got a call somewhere in 2023 and was told I am being offered an option to upgrade my device and save me some money. Who wouldn’t jump to saving money I jumped to it arranged for them to come install the new device. Guess what they were basically downgrading me. The new tracker didn’t have a mobiliser. For 2 months it kept showing my vehicle location in an area I didn’t know. And the unfortunate part with this people you can never get hold of them. The only way is to not pay premiums hoping when they call to complain about premiums you can also get to raise your complain. They called I raised my complain and was promised they will call me. Still to date I cannot get hold of them and still they haven’t already taken me back to the package I want. Now all I want is to cut ties with them period. They do not even deserve the 1 star. I wonder what would haven’t should my car get ****** and I must call them to report
I had ABSA credit card and in 2023 unfortunately found myself unemployed. lodged a claim with the credit life insurance. the claim was approved for R90000 in september 2024 i learnt than the account was handed over then subsequently requested for a statement from the collection company, the account was actually handed over just a month after i claimed for loss of income that was approved. and they only made R45000 payment towards that account instead of the R90000 recently called the credit claims department and they said they paid R90000 and are surprised only R45000 was paid i should call the credit card department when i called them they kept me on hold until the hung up the phone. then you call again say your complaint and you told im sorry to hear that and it should have been payment of R90000 then you get told let me put you on hold so i look over to see what happened then they hung up. that time i was never informed about hand over that even with claim approved we are handing over, sadly for over the year the account basically is standing there accumulating interest while i didnt know about it. to show they are smart on the credit bereau the account it updated minus the claim actually paid
There is no hustle in getting assistance from them and they explain in a way you are happy about it. With affordable premiums
The worst people to do business with. Had a device installed in my car 2020 then November 2022 they called saying I’m due to be installed another device. Was installed 2 December and ever since when I track online it keeps showing my car parked somewhere in a location I don’t know of. Been trying to call but the customer care doesn’t go through.
Rain is actually a scam. They claim to be no contract obligations but join it you are stuck with them. If you cancel sim they will still deduct money from you and the unfortunate part it's money you cannot reverse. Cancelled my subscription and asked them to come collect their router. 3 months later they haven't collected and still deducting money from my account.
They have the most rude drivers. I was told delivery is scheduled for 12pm till 4pm then before 12 I get a call that he is outside that time it's at my work place and I mentioned I'm still with a patient I will come once I'm done but in less than 5 minutes. And guess what when I got there to him received work phone call and he heard I'm discussing work issue. The driver just left like that. When I called the call center they told me drivers aren't allowed to wait so does that mean a minute after they call I must quickly be there or else they will leave. The lady said yes.. what a wow
