Laptop4u is a scam: Be warned!
I bought a MacBook Air 2015 model. It was delivered with no problem. However, the charger was not working. I contacted the company and they mentioned they will send out a new charger. I kept on following up and each week i was told it is on the way. This was in July. I ended up buying a charger and when i managed to login in, the password details did not work. I ended up taking it to an IT technician who managed to get the password. Now that the laptop is working, there is an icloud account which was not removed. I am not able to download anything or update anything without the password. Again I contacted them and they promised to work on it and get back to me. No response, the continue to ignore my messages and calls. Every phone call you are told the same thing. At this point, I want my money back, but a previous client warned customers about returning the laptop as they will not get their money back. Basically, these people are a scam. You are lucky if you get what you want. I would like the laptop to be taken back and my money refunded. I bought this laptop for business, but I have not been able to use it at all. 8k down the drain!!! I am really upset and disappointed.
