I would like to really thank the salesman at Bidvest McCarthy Tableview, Brandon Peterson for going above and beyond in assisting me with both the trade-in of my Hilux and the purchase of my new 2022 Fortuner VX. I was really worried that it would take months and months for the new vehicle to arrive but with Brandon's persistence he found me a vehicle in record time and ensured my trade-in value remained the same. I will highly recommend Brandon to anyone looking for a new vehicle as he offered genuinely exceptional, honest service with a great hand-over at the end. It is very seldom that you receive service of this excellence in these times. Thank you Brandon and McCarthy Toyota Tableview, I'll definitely be back when it's time for the next trade-in.
Very friendly, helpful service at Takealot depot in Brackenfell at around 14h00 today. These guys are great at helping to carry items to your vehicle and service is fast and efficient.
I would like to thank both Nolyiso (Nolo) and Gershim at the Capegate branch for their brilliant service. I am always very disappointed with the service at the returns department which is very slow but with their assistance from inside the store, everything was sorted out quickly and easily. Because of the fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly service I always receive from Nolo, I have returned to Capegate over and over again for all my large appliances and will continue to do so in the future. These two staff members should be running the whole store as they are Makro's greatest assets! Thank you once again Nolo and Gershim for going out of your way to provide an excellent service.
It disgusts me to see that Woolworths are still using plastic shopping bags. The majority of big chain stores are now offering cheap paper bags as an but Woolworths don't seem to care at all about the environment and what the amount of plastic used daily is doing to the oceans, wildlife etc... I for one am going to encourage all my friends and family to boycott Woolworths until such time as they make a concerted effort to provide affordable paper shopping bags. Who cares about VIP status if it comes at a higher price. On this note, I would like to congratulate SPAR for being the first to make the move to paper shopping bags - Well done Spar!
I purchased a demo Toyota Hilux Extended Cab 2.8GD6 A/T 4x4 on Friday the 19th of October in exchange for a Ford Ranger 3.2XLT. On Saturday the 20th I needed to make an urgent phone call and pressed the SPEECH button on the steering wheel to ask the vehicle to contact someone only to see that the multimedia panel displayed a message - "Voice Recognition Not Available". After contacting both the dealer and Toyota SA, I've been told that this is just a dummy button and does not work. It worked perfectly fine in my Ford and I feel I have been tricked into believing the button was operational. What serious automobile company inserts a dummy (not operational) button on the steering in any vehicle! I believe that Toyota should upgrade the software or install compatible systems in order to continue inserting this button in vehicles. Very disappointed!
I am disgusted in the service I have received from both Makro and LG as I am a very good customer of both.
My LG Dishwasher purchased on the 22/03/2013 and still under warranty has been out of order now for three weeks and although the technicians keep coming back and trying new things it continues to have the same problem and will not wash or empty. The only helpful person thus far has been a supervisor by the name of Cindy in the Multimedia Department. I have also spoken to a rep from LG by the name of Etienne who doesn't seem to have much say in anything and a very nasty, stroppy woman by the name of Natasha at the LG service department who just keeps telling me to log another service.
There is no point in sending back the technicians over and over again if the machine is still complaining about the same thing and they've replaced the part twice already and are now returning for the fourth time!
This is just not acceptable. Is there no-one at either LG or Makro with enough decency to say enough is enough and let's replace the machine?
