My account has been frozen and I was given a number of the investigator John Volmink. I spent that day trying to get a hold of him with no luck. Then the following day I called till I got a gentleman by the name of Thabo Lebepe. Thabo stated to me that John was on lunch and should be back in 10minutes. I then ask Thabo to please make sure that John calls me in 40mins and he agreed. 1hr 30mins later I call Thabo and he doesn't answer I call John same thing. Then I call the complaints division and thay heard my story then they sent an email to to the head of the fraud division. Guess what! John called me 30mins later. On the call I could hear that John was still eating and would occasionally talk to someone else. John said he doesn't know why my account was frozen and would look into it and will call me before the end of that business day. To no surprise he didn't call I ended up calling him two days later, then that whole back and fourth of me call and no answer happened again. I once again called the complaints division and John called me 30mins later. He again seemed not to know what my issue was after some discussion he says someone payed monies into my account that where stolen. I asked him if they have contacted that person he said they are on the run and this is white collar crime something I won't understand. At first I was shocked they I released John was talking nonsense. Since when is a bank a debt collector? and how is that possible if that prisons has not been arrested I see them quite often. Them John said he will call them and get back to me. I called that person and told them to sort this thing out with John and they said they will wait for John's call. Things went quite for a week or two. I then called the complaints division a lodged a complaint ref no 2295209 on the email that was sent to me it said that a consultant will call me in 24 to 48h but still nothing 7 days later.
