Bought and paid deposit for a vehicle via their website “swift rent-to-own”, on the day of the delivery they weee a no show, their phone lines even stopped working, no one responds to emails….complete ***** of a company.
Hired a vehicle at Budget car hire through Holiday autos online, only to be met ridiculous added charges upon collecting, Budget can’t confirm the booking and I’m struggling to get hold of Holiday autos, not even a phone number, they don’t even respond to emails.
Still today my problem hast been resolved. They promised that someone will get back to me, but nothing. My network hasn’t been working for 10 days now, I wrote emails on their customer care, even then there are no replies, even when you try to call them, doesn’t even give you the option to speak to a consultant. So I guess I have to be okay with the fact that suddenly, my number doesn’t exist.
On Monday, 02 December 2019, I ported my number from Telkom to Vodacom and I was told the SIM card I had bought was gonna be active as soon as the Telkom one looses network (after 48 hours). Today is the 4th, and the Telkom sim is still active, however, the Vodacom sim is also active, both working simultaneously. I can’t get through to Vodacom as it is giving me self service menu which doesn’t cater for the problem I’m currently experiencing. My calls are going though the Telkom sim, but SMS’s are going in on the Vodacom sim. Telkom says they don’t have my number listed so they can’t help me, and Vodacom is also not doing any justice. Now I’m stuck in between the two, and don’t know where to go from here.
