Hired a vehicle at Budget car hire through Holiday autos online, only to be met ridiculous added charges upon collecting, Budget can’t confirm the booking and I’m struggling to get hold of Holiday autos, not even a phone number, they don’t even respond to emails.

We booked a car hire through holiday autos and paid in advance. We then learned that they had sub contracted the hire to Europcars. Europcars have the worst customer service and made fraudulent transactions on my credit card. They charged me for refuelling and admin fees which were fraudulent and took ZAR 11,215.57 in deposit when they assured me it as a hold rather than a charge. When I approached holiday autos for help they washed their hands of the matter. We won’t use either company again.

I booked a rental car through Holiday Autos, the confirmation was for unlimited mileage but the service provider said it was for limited mileage of 200km on collection, Holiday autos said they will refund the balance as the mistake was on their side but they never did. Be ware i got scammed by this agency.

<p>I recently made a booking on line one week prior to the required pick up date. The date was 01 May which is a public holiday but nothing was said about this. I received a confirmation that my car would be ready for pick up at the Europcar in Fourways. I arrive on time at the Europcar to discover it is closed. I need this car as I do work and need to get to work on Tuesday. After trying to find a number to contact Holiday Autos I finally found it and was greated by an answering message saying that they were closed! How can a company that is supplying rental holiday cars be closed for any queries. Do they not deal with international holiday makers or business people? What kind of reputation are we giving our country. I have been put in a very difficult spot as now I have to organise for transport to drop my baby off at daycare as well as get to work. I will take this up with Holiday Auto tomorrow and will demand for a car to be delivered to me! I am very upset about this poor service!</p>

I have been dissapointed a number of times by poor service but WOODFORD CAR RENTAL's seevice is at another level. Infact I do not know how long they have been in service, but if what my wife and I went through this morning is anything to go by, they will be out of service soon. <br> <br> I booked a car via Holiday Autos which I have used many times and I have been happy with their service and the rental car companies they used in the past.<br> <br> This time around the Car Rental Company is WOODFORD CAR RENTAL. I booked for a 7 seater but when my wife arrived there were no seven seaters available. How could this be when the booking was done more than 3 weeks ago and it was accepted. <br> <br> Before we could even find out that the car we requested the service from Abu, who apparently is the manager was very poor. Have no idea how someone like that could have been offered such a position.<br> <br> I will never ever use that company and I will make sure all my friends and family do not ever go there. (Appologies for any spelling or grammar if any as I am currently on the road running from Johannesburg to Cape Town to raise funds for Education)<br> <br> Very Dissapointed Customer <br> Thulani Masilela
