I want to share my disappointment with VW Barons Pietermaritzburg, I wanted to have my car serviced this weekend being 30 August 2025. I made a call to them last week Thursday 21 August 2025 no one answered from service department I got and SMS saying they sorry for missing my call they will get back to me they didn't. called them again Monday 25 August 2025 I was told to leave my number someone will come back to me no one did. i called again Tuesday told the guy what happened he promised me this time they will call again no one called till now there service is worse
I made a claim on friday a lady by Nomvo Mente assisted me and my claim was approved in on tuesday talk about excellent turnaround time of two days. My car is back and good as new thank you PMD
it seems as if this is the only solution for this insurance to respond because even last time for my claim I had to write here in order to get your attention. my claim was approved on 23 December 2019 I nominated the panel beater from the list I got from the insurance there was a shut down for December holidays.the panel beater opened on 2 January 2020 but the lady who was assisting me did not approve the towing of the car to the panel beater. I called I was told she was on another call and i left a message for her to call me back she never called the towing was approved on 6 January 2020 when the car arrived in the panel beater the quotation was incorrect the panel beater sent an email to correct the quote of which took a while to be corrected by the time it was corrected days had gone by. now the issue is the quotation from the assessor had items missing when the panel beater informed them on 13 January 2020 of the additional items to be repaired. since then nothing has been done if i phone the lady does not answer my calls nor my emails. last i heard was from the panel beater saying that the insurance submitted an email on 20 January 2020 to say they will send an assessor to assessor the car again since then the assessor has not arrived. I have a car but i had to ride taxis to work
t with deep concern that i write this Email. on November i lodge a claim for my car that was involve in an accident to my suprise that when i called you they were not able to find my name in your system I made arrangement for my car to be towed then the next day i called my name was there i made a claim I was told Lungile was handling my claim weeks gone bye now my claim was with Bianca who also wanted information from me of which i have provided to her. December still no car and Bianca keeps on updating me with the same update of the SMS then she requested call records from my service provider of which I did an affidavit as she requested according to her my service provider was willing to give her on the spot but I was told to submit a copy of my ID certified by the SAPS of which i did on the 5th of December since then there has been no progress expect the same update then I called my service provider who indicated that no one has requested such information from them they gave me the information on 14 December of which i forwarded it to her but she did not respond i sent her an Email on the 15 December no response again i called her on the 17 I was told she is on lunch but they will pass my message to her till now she has not phoned me. I wish to get assistant to this matter as a matter of urgency
