Excellent Service for Sales , Worst Service when it comes to Warranty , Recently Purchased a T-cross R line , BRAND NEW , After a month , vehicle came up with Lights errors , had been back to VW 4 times For fixing , , Nothing has been fixed , The Dealer Principal is a arrogant man , Refuses to Fix the vehicle , refuses to replace it , Im now stuck with a debit going off every month , And I left the vehicle with them , its been 3 months , nothing has been done , They have requested me to trade the vehicle back to VW , and I should take a major loss , Hope someone can help in this situation. Hope this helps someone , Just because they Are VW doesn't mean its the best service , PMB Branch is the worst ,

I want to share my disappointment with VW Barons Pietermaritzburg, I wanted to have my car serviced this weekend being 30 August 2025. I made a call to them last week Thursday 21 August 2025 no one answered from service department I got and SMS saying they sorry for missing my call they will get back to me they didn't. called them again Monday 25 August 2025 I was told to leave my number someone will come back to me no one did. i called again Tuesday told the guy what happened he promised me this time they will call again no one called till now there service is worse

Excellent Service Received from Sales Executive Mbali Mabasa. She contacted me after I sent an enquiry on a vw T roc. She brought the car to my house for a demo and test drive she drove from Pmb to Tongaat. I had a few minor issues nothing serious which she escalated to her Manager Menzi Ngubane. My experience with Menzi Ngubane Master Cars Sales Manager was nothing short of outstanding. He pays attention to every detail and goes beyond to make sure the customer is Happy. He even paid me a visit at home to attend to the minor issue I had. Menzi Ngubane and Mbali Mabasa really has patience and made issue all issues were resolved and I was Happy with my Car. Very BIG THANK YOU MENZI NGUBANE AND MBALI MABASA. Keep up the EXCELLENT SERVICE 👏 ALWAYS I HIGHLY Recommend Barons mastercars to anyone looking for a used/demo VW.

I had the greatest service experience from a Dealer Principal, Mr. Hein Viljoen, who leads from the front, and his Service Team. He seems to inspire his team to deliver excellent service under any conditions. Without going into details Team VW Barons PMB, notably Mr. Hein Viljoen, Ms. Valerie Charles and Ms. Nothile Ndebele exceeded all my expectations in dealing with what could be classified as an emergency situation. I felt it was incumbent on me to recognise their efforts in making me as a customer 100% satisfied. Once again a big THANK YOU to TEAM VW BARONS PMB.

We have purchased a vw tiguan 2024 model in October 2023. About 2500km we started experiencing jerking on the vehicle in reverse mode when in auto. Being a female driver I was not confident to drive the vehicle. After numerous calls I eventually insisted on the vehicle being checked. The workshop manager then met with me. After test driving the vehicle I was told it's normal and nothing I should worry about. I explained I travel daily and need a roadworthy vehicle and that the jerk was loud and becoming frequent. His reply was he didn't experience it while driving and all will be well. Perking became regular louder and frequent to the point it started occurring in drive auto mode not just reverse. We went back to the workshop. They ran various diagnostics. Sent an email to dealer principal. To date we have not received a call. We suggested replacing the vehicle. We were told there is no other in south africa as a newer model is being built which is only available end of 2024. Now understand vw is not holding its value so with each day delayed it decreases in value. We further suggested a different vw vehicle to match what we had as we were accustomed to vw tiguan and it's features. No help at all. We paid a huge deposit for this vehicle and we're trying to salvage that. I even stated I was ignored as I was a female and was not taken seriously. All I asked for was a vehicle which I could confidently drive as I travel alot and alone. Fell on deaf ears. We asked for ombudsman details and vw sa as well as Germany contact details. None of these were provided. At some point the workshop manager admitted they receiving many complaints about spark plugs getting burnt out. Our vehicle was taken in for service at my suggestion and again no fault was picked up. They service manager told us it's the fuel we using that's causing plugs to get burned out. As i could not understand for a new vehicle how this could happen. We asked for a written repoet on the fault so we can submit to the fuel company and to date we have not received same. After servicing the vehicle jerking continued now not just in drive or reverse but whilst driving before taking off. We again reported this to vw and we received no help but blank looks. Service is good when purchasing. After service is pathetic. Not helpful and lie and cover up faults and blame other companies. We have purchased vw before and experienced same lack of interest so much so that we travel to durban to get our vehicles serviced. This I mentioned to the workshop manager as well. No explanation no customer satisfaction at all. Do not purchase from vw. You will loose money and regret your decision. I had eventually manged ro record a video and sent to them of the challenge we were experiencing and still no reply, or help. I even mentioned that if it's a factory default when I first took the vehicle in that I didn't want it and they must take it back. They refused and made every excuse you can think of. I even mentioned that although the vehicle is under warranty, I could not feel safe in it knowing at such low mileage we started experiencing challenges.Now as a female is it my job to find the fault and diagnose the vehicle. If there equipment could not pick up the fault should they not have investigated further wirh vw sa and Germany. it's not a cheap vehicle that we purchased! Last point the dealer principal has now mysteriously left the company.

I booked my car for a service 2 weeks ago i was assisted by Sumari, initially i booked a service as well as a Diagnostic. I was quoted R1900 for a service and R1,300 for a diagnostic. Sumari called me around 13:30pm to inform that the mechanic that was assigned to my car was on lunch my car will probably be taken in for a service in the next 30 min, at 16:00 i called her and i was told my car is not in yet as there’s no mechanic available to take it but she will make arrangements for someone else to take it in, i told her i had planned to drive outside the province in that afternoon and i was hoping by 17:00 the car would have been ready, i called again to inquire around 16:45 and i was told my car is finally in, in a space of 30 minutes she called to say my car was ready i can fetch it. On my arrival she told me that she didn’t have the print out of the diagnostic as she was waiting for the mechanic to email it to her which was strange to me because as far as i know the diagnostic doesn’t take that long, it’s 2 weeks later and i still haven’t received the diagnostic.
