Someone gave my number to ABSA as a contact number. This person now has outstanding debt. I've told LGR Attorneys MULTIPLE times that I am not the person that they are looking for and have provided them with the contact number of the relevant person on a least three occasions. They just keep on phoning me. I've gotten to point where I am missing important phone calls because I don't want to answer the phone anymore!
I phoned to confirm stock with The Mattress Warehouse after which I went ahead and ordered a mattress on The Mattress Warehouse's website. This was on the 7th of December. I was sent a confirmation by Tanja, cc'ed to Rosemary (Midrand) and Eunice. Nine days later I phoned to enquire about the delivery of my mattress. I was to be phoned back. The next day I received a phone call explaining that the order was never sent to Midrand branch (see above where I said it was also cc'ed to Rosemary at Midrand branch) and that the mattress was now out of stock. I phoned the main branch as indicated on the website and asked for the manager. I was transferred to the branch manager, Kobus. After openly insulting his co-workers and telling me that the Sealy mattress I had bought was of inferior quality, Kobus promised to get back to me with a solution (10 minutes on the phone). 28 Hours later I phoned Kobus, he was not available (on the phone, according to the operator) and I left a message. Another two hours later I phoned Kobus who told me that he had just stepped into the office. He had done nothing to remedy my problem, telling me that he only had one (other brand of mattress) available. I immediately asked for a refund and asked Kobus to confirm the request. He once again promised to phone me back. I sent an email to Kobus, Tanja and Sales at 15h44, no response. It is now 16h33. No confirmation, no phone call, email or any other communication. If a reader wanted to buy from their online shop, you've been warned. You will be fed lies and promises, but nothing will come of it.
