Mieke Zeeman was the friendliest, most helpful and polite agent at Dot Sure. She honestly went above and beyond for me :) I would highly recommend her as an agent and Dot Sure as a company if they hire high quality, professional staff like Mieke.
Exclusive books at the V&A Waterfront has appalling service. I went into the store to get my dad a book for his birthday. They looked it up on the system and told me they had one copy left. I thought, great it’s my lucky day. I was then told that it’s in a box and not on the shelf. So I asked whether we could take the book out the box. The consultant in the store said that he would need to ask the manager. The manager walks up to the counter and says responds to the consultants enquiry with “no absolutely not” while shaking his head furiously. The manager didn’t even have the respect to look me, his client, in the face and respectfully explain why he refused to get the book out the box. I then looked at the manager who had his head down looking into the computer and said “so that’s a no?”. The manager, still without looking me in the face simply shook his head. These guys need sales training, why not make a suggestion of another book that’s “not in a box” or simply apologise for the inconvenience. The manager there literally doesn’t care whether books are sold or not, as long as he gets his salary at the end of the month, he’s happy. How sad.
Disgusting service, fraudulent activity, criminal driver!!! I was at work and could not afford to take time off to take my ill mother to her doctor's appointment. I called her a BOLT taxi to take her to her appointment. When you request a BOLT taxi, the money automatically comes off your account. My mother got into the taxi and the driver drove her straight to an ATM. My mother advised that he was driving in the wrong direction, but he ignored her. He then told her she had to pay cash for her trip. She advised that it had already been paid for, he disagreed and forcefully told her that she must draw the money. She then called me as the driver drove off and left her on the side of the road after refusing to draw the money. When i emailed through to customer service they told me that they WILL NOT REFUND ME FOR THIS TRIP???!!!! Nor did they ever respond to my complaint to advise on what steps they would take with this criminal driver. Now I have had over R7,000.00 stolen out of my business account from BOLT. I logged the fraudulent activity with my private banker, he cancelled my card, and reversed all the transactions amount to 7k. The worst and most UNSAFE taxi service in Cape Town... I have driven 12 hours to Knysna for accommodation I booked 3 months ago, and they called to cancel due to double booking the night before I arrive at the accommodation. The receptionist put the phone down on me then blocked my number, just after sending me an SMS to say they have evaluated my refund WHICH I NEVER RECIEVED.
