If I could give less than 1 star I would. We signed up with 1-grid a year ago. Our website takes nearly 20 second to open up. We've contacted them numerous times to resolve the problem, but nothing really was done and tickets were closed. The last ticket they told us that their servers were under high stressw, hence the slow website. So has it been under stress for a year and nobody did anything? Now our website completely dissapeared. We cannot even open it in a browser anymore. We assume they tried to more our website to another server and somehow lost it. We tried to get some help from them but no reply. Nobody is even bothering to let us know what's going on, whether we open a ticket or email them. Stay away from 1-grid. Their technical department and helpdesk seems to be totally incompetent or just does not care about customer service. Either is damning
Do not trust the other "reviewer". That person's argument was with a product, not the company, Flavour Mill. I had good experiences with them. One of their employees even phones me to give me advice on mixing.
I've had Telkom fibre for about 6 months now but in the last month there has been terrible speeds. I've done traceroute's and can see where the problem is. Its at a Telkom node that is named ADSL. So how does my fibre run though a ADSL route? Secondly, Nobody at Telkom seems willing or able to address the packetloss at this node. The technicians did not even know what packetloss or a traceroute is. How did they get employed as network technicians then??? I would appreciate it if a Telkom technician that knows what he is doing can phone me at 078 273 3281
