Haval West Rand gave the worst service after I took delivery of a vehicle in less than 24 hours that had a sunroof fault and it was alleged by the dealership that I tempered with the sunroof
I took out cellphone insurance with Finrite for a device I purchased at Telkom. The device was stolen within two months of purchase. Called in to enquire about registering the claim. I was told to forward documentation to open a claim of which I did. Spent three months following up on the progress of the claim and I would either be told “the claims has went for escalation” or “an investigation for usage is being done” or simply PUT ON HOLD by the consultants for an hour going till I decide to hang up. With all the airtime and data spent, no one has bothered to give me feedback on the status of my claim.I’ve sent numerous emails to telkominsurance@finrite.co.za as well as Complaints@finrite.co.za and I was only responded too once when I sent in the documentation to register the claim. The consultants lack etiquette and have no interest in assisting whatsoever. After 3 months of the loss of the device with debit deductions going off my account with no fail for a device I’ve insured with Finrite, I called in today 31/12/19 and I was told that they cannot proceed with the claim as I was using a different SIM card when the device was stolen. NOWHERE in the policy contract does it stipulate that one of the conditions at claim stage was that the Sim Card in use in a case of theft was supposed to be the Contract Sim or that there was a waiting period of some sort.The consultant(Lerato) which then further lied said communication was sent about the rejection on the claim as well as an amended insurance document and that one of her colleagues called me to explain the terms and conditions. I asked the consultant to confirm “my” email address to which feedback was sent through she couldn’t even answer. I asked for call recordings of which Finrite contacted me to give me feedback about the status of my claim. the consultant had no answer. The consultant couldn’t even provide me with her Name and Surname. FINRITE TELKOM INSURANCE IS A SCAM. An R800 deduction goes off from my account for a device they rejected a claim on because the SIM CARD in use wasn’t the contract SIM CARD and for 3months since registering the claim No one bothered to update or give feedback till I called in myself.My question to them is was I insuring the SIM CARD or the actual device?! And they still failed to respond to that as well. This is all Pathetic and disappointing!
