Today I went into your V&A branch to print out business logo's that I print all the time at multiple branches. I. Print them @ 5cmx5cm on 160g board in colour. I usually pay R11, which I was then informed now costs R12.20 or something like that.. Fair enough prices go up.. Strange time for a price increase, but whatever. Then however I get informed by one of your sales staff that there would be a R90 graphic design charge. Firstly.. I have never ever paid any such charge and to say it's a graphic design charge is absolutely ridiculous. It's a click of a button.. Selecting multiple columns and rows in the print window. How on earth do you warrant R90 for that. That is literally R15 a click of a mouse... Can you please explain that to me?? Also when asking why I had never been charged that before.. I was informed that it is down to their discretion... What bull**** business model is that. Do let's simplify this... I had a 5x5cm design.. I wanted as many as I could fit on a A4 160g board in colour.. I was charged R90 for the placing.. Which you claim is a graphic design fee and then my design was still ****ed up as there was zero bleed... So I couldn't make out where the one design ended and the other started and one column had the entire number of the business cut off. Disgusting service, disgusting work and disgusting prices!!! Will never be back and will make sure all my clients take their work elsewhere.
So let me start by saying my initial experience with them was good, but all that changed not long afterwards. I first went to Epicentre for a covid test, which came back negative, upon my doctor's recommendation I went for another. After 48hrs which is far longer than their advertised time frame I decided to call. I asked about my test and was told that I may have written down the incorrect email which was untrue, as I still checked it when I left. I was then told that my test was negative, something told me to ask again just incase my two tests got mixed up. Exactly as expected they had and I was in fact positive. Now let's just take a moment to think about what a massive and "infectious" mistake that could have been, had I not suspected the mix up. Then I try put in a claim regarding my two tests with my medical aid, which bounced back as certain information was not reflected on the report/invoice from epicentre.. Even though they take all medical aid details on the day of testing. So I emailed on the 21st Dec and was instructed to supply information, information that they already had. I supplied the required information and waited. Next day after receiving no information I sent a follow-up, received absolutely no response. I then got busy, it being Christmas and all and finally on the 29th December, sent another email.. Which got zero response, then sent one more and same thing.. Nothing. I waited a couple hours and then gave the person I had been dealing with a call and expressed my frustration. I asked why I hadn't received the required documentation and was told it had been sent to the JHB office. I asked why nobody had informed me or touched base and was given no valid reason. I said that I want it escalated and I would like a response as to the time frame within the next hour and I hung up. After about 16mins I get a call from a man named 'Brad' from the Wynberg branch.. And he proceeds to tell me that he has an employee there that is in tears and that we have a problem. He then demands that I come down there (bare in mind I have Covid), in an extremely threatening manner and that we need to sort this out. He also tells me and I quote, I called her 'my *****'. Now let me say, I was frustrated and I did raise my voice, but at no point did I or would I ever say that. So either Brad is lying or his colleague. He then proceeded to tell me that I've lost all credibility. When I asked him why nobody had responded to me and that I would like him to go see the string of communication from my side, he just hung up. Now let's just think about this for a second.. You failed to supply me with my results, you then gave me incorrect results, you failed to follow up or respond to any of my emails, you then threatened me, lied to me and then proceed to tell me I have lost all credibility. Are you actually joking. As I said before with far more patience, I want my request escalated, a response and an apology from Brad.
Absolutely finished with Momentum. Yesterday I got double debited for my daughter. I was told that my daughter would be free for one month through the maternity benefits. She was born on the 21st November, she was registered round about the 2nd/3rd December. Yet I get told today that November was her free month and it says she was registered on the 1st November, which is a complete lie. I can almost guarantee that had something happened between the 21st and the 2nd December, Momentum would never cover a thing as they would say she isn't registered, but when it comes to the free month they lie and claim she was registered on the 1st November, 20 days before she was actually born.
