Good day I paid online (in advance) for a COVID-19 travel test with your client Epicentre Aids Risk Management (Pty) Ltd. using Netcash. I am unable to utilize the test booked for 24 February 2021, due to not being able to travel to Cape Town. I have requested a refund from them via email on 16 February 2021 (and on Facebook - 18 February 2021) but my emails/messages go unanswered. I have contacted sales also, with no reply. Could you please advise how to lodge a refund with them? Regards

Good day. My name is Mandisa I resigned from a secure permanent job to join Epicentre as the CEO cherie cawood had promised me a job. After resigning I was testing the covid drive through as THERE WAS NO CLINICALLY TRAINED person testing for covid. Once my original contract was presented it was not as discussed with ceo. I was forcefully removed from the premises for complaining about my pay. To date I am unemployed. I am a trained Nimart professional nurse.

So let me start by saying my initial experience with them was good, but all that changed not long afterwards. I first went to Epicentre for a covid test, which came back negative, upon my doctor's recommendation I went for another. After 48hrs which is far longer than their advertised time frame I decided to call. I asked about my test and was told that I may have written down the incorrect email which was untrue, as I still checked it when I left. I was then told that my test was negative, something told me to ask again just incase my two tests got mixed up. Exactly as expected they had and I was in fact positive. Now let's just take a moment to think about what a massive and "infectious" mistake that could have been, had I not suspected the mix up. Then I try put in a claim regarding my two tests with my medical aid, which bounced back as certain information was not reflected on the report/invoice from epicentre.. Even though they take all medical aid details on the day of testing. So I emailed on the 21st Dec and was instructed to supply information, information that they already had. I supplied the required information and waited. Next day after receiving no information I sent a follow-up, received absolutely no response. I then got busy, it being Christmas and all and finally on the 29th December, sent another email.. Which got zero response, then sent one more and same thing.. Nothing. I waited a couple hours and then gave the person I had been dealing with a call and expressed my frustration. I asked why I hadn't received the required documentation and was told it had been sent to the JHB office. I asked why nobody had informed me or touched base and was given no valid reason. I said that I want it escalated and I would like a response as to the time frame within the next hour and I hung up. After about 16mins I get a call from a man named 'Brad' from the Wynberg branch.. And he proceeds to tell me that he has an employee there that is in tears and that we have a problem. He then demands that I come down there (bare in mind I have Covid), in an extremely threatening manner and that we need to sort this out. He also tells me and I quote, I called her 'my *****'. Now let me say, I was frustrated and I did raise my voice, but at no point did I or would I ever say that. So either Brad is lying or his colleague. He then proceeded to tell me that I've lost all credibility. When I asked him why nobody had responded to me and that I would like him to go see the string of communication from my side, he just hung up. Now let's just think about this for a second.. You failed to supply me with my results, you then gave me incorrect results, you failed to follow up or respond to any of my emails, you then threatened me, lied to me and then proceed to tell me I have lost all credibility. Are you actually joking. As I said before with far more patience, I want my request escalated, a response and an apology from Brad.

I would like to share my painful experience as a staff member at Epicentre and hope that my little voice will be heard. My name is Snenhlanhla Mngadi, I was given an employment opportunity at Epicentre in Nov 2020 and I grabbed it with both hands as I was previously unemployed. I signed a one-pager employment contract which had my job function and designation in the company and proof that I had successfully completed the training. On the contract it stipulated the remuneration amount and that we would receive our salaries on the last Friday of the month. Some employees did successfully receive their salaries on the 30th of Nov 2020 and others on the 1st of Dec 2020 and this was purely due to the different banking institutions that you may use. Unfortunately I only received my first salary on the 4th of Dec 2020 after questioning my payment. An internal investigation was conducted on the system as to what was captured and which banking institution and banking details I gave them. The result of my payment not being received is that Cindy, who processes payments at Epicentre captured my income tax number instead of my banking account number and an immediate payment was made for me. We were informed that most Departments will be closing on 24 Dec 2020 and that our salaries will be paid earlier so that we can make arrangements for any Christmas shopping . Again, everyone received their salaries on time except me. I informed Cherie Cawood, the CEO of Epicentre on Christmas Day regarding my payment and she confirmed that she will be going into the office on the 26th of Dec 2020 and she will check but in the interim I should forward her my banking account number so she can do an audit on the system. She gave me feedback on the day and confirmed that payment will reflect on Monday 28 Dec 2020. I had the most depressing Christmas as I was unable to contribute anything for Christmas not even a loaf of bread since I was not paid. On Monday morning 28 Dec 2020, I did not receive any notification regarding my payment. But instead I received a very rude message from Cherie Cawood. I have screenshots of the message where she says she is surprised why I am not at work and I have not been given permission to work from home or any leave approved and that this is a 2nd occurrence and that she will be issuing me a Notice for a Disciplinary Hearing. She further added that I will be deducted un-paids on my salary from these days 28-31 December 2020. I politely responded to her message informing her that I still haven't received my salary and I am stuck in the rural areas meaning I don't have any means of getting to work. I emphasized that I did not deliberately not come to work but I have honestly not been paid. She then decided to block me instead of trying to assist me as a leader in the group. Later on the day I received notification on my phone that my salary was paid and the time was just after 15h00pm. On the 29th of December I received I message from Mr David Khanyile issuing me a Notice for Disciplinary Hearing on 31 December 2020. First of all I never signed a Code of Conduct informing me of the repercussion of my actions or for any breaches in my employment contract. Just because I couldn't afford to make it to work because I was not paid on time I am now served a Notice of Disciplinary Hearing. Again it was really heartbreaking for me that I couldn't even contribute anything to my family for Christmas because I was not paid on the 24th. Epicentre especially Cherie Cawood has really not shown any sympathy to my matter and did not at all portray the spirit of Ubuntu or the company values. This is really demotivating to me as I have ensured that I execute whatever is required of me at Epicentre and even exceed your expectations. At previous employments be it a Temp or Permanent position there is a Code of Conduct that needs to be signed as per the Department of Labour, but I have not signed one at Epicentre. So immediately issuing me with this Notice is a breach of my Human Rights and feels like discrimination. I was not able to make it to work due to a breach in contract from Epicentre not paying me as per the contract I signed. My Christmas was not pleasant at all, I was working far from home with the hop to put a smile on their face but I couldn't. To Epicentre this might be small change, but to the minority out there in the group like myself and others it can make a difference as times are really tough. But I guess Cherie and Epicentre wouldn't understand as you received your full salaries on time. I really hope this matter will be resolved and treated with the sympathy and respect it deserves so that I do not have to utilize other channels to get myself heard.

Booked a time slot and paid for an antibody test and Smart Silver Certified Antiviral Mask Pack. On arrival at the testing centre, I was asked to come and stand in the que which I refused as the booking said it would be done at the car. The test was done 25 minutes later than the booked time by an apologetic and caring nurse. My issue is with the Mask Pack. When you are feeling sick, the last thing you are going to do is look at the fine print. The advert shows someone wearing a face shield and mask and that is my gripe. The advert should clearly say 'face shield not included'. I would not have paid R175.00 for a face mask only, irrespective of what standard it is.

I was ill on the 9th July 2020 and Epicentre Hillcrest Durban was one of the places my doctor recommended I go test for COVID19 as i had bronchitis. As they had the Home test service, i opted for them as opposed to Lancet or Ampath Lab Drive thru tests. I called Epicentre on the 9th July 2020 and inquired if I could take the test and they claim on my medical aid, a lady informed me that i had to pay cash and later claim from my medical aid. As I didnt have money at the time, i self isolated and waited for monthend when i had money to test. On the 24th July 2020 (Friday), I made the booking online and immediately received confirmation from their site that they received my payment and also completed my patient form online. Minutes later a lady called to schedule the time for the nurse to come to my place and test me, which was scheduled for 27th July 2020 (Monday). Indeed on Monday, 27th July 2020, the nurse arrived to my home, very friendly and professional and conducted the test and informed me that by Friday 31st July 2020 i will have received my results, as their SLA is 3 to 5 days. On Thursday 30th July 2020, i called the center and couldn't reach anyone until i send an email to the email address i found on the confirmation reply i received on the 24th July. i inquired about my results and the fact that i wanted to start the claim process with my medical aid. 9 minutes later i received a reply from Robyn, confirming that my results were emailed Wednesday night and i should check my spam. Indeed i had received my results and were in my spam folder. I was excited that i tested negative and forwarded my confirmation email, proof of payment and results to my medical aid. on the 31st July my medical aid replied to say ''Kindly be advised that the attachment cannot be used for claiming purposes due to there is no detailed invoice account.'' I immediately call Epicentre and inform Cindy that my medical aid is requesting for an invoice, with this specific data on it. Cindy informs me that they are aware of this and that they are no longer drafting invoices but their lab is and i will receive it by next week. i say to her okay i will call next Friday and she says no even Wednesday is fine. On the 4th August 2020, (Tuesday) i call back and Cindy informs me that they have not received my invoice from the lab as yet and asks i wait another week. And if i dont get my invoice by Monday 10th August 2020, i should call back. I followed up via email on the 8th August 2020, assuming on Monday 10th Aug, they would respond to my email and provide feedback. On 14thyAugust 2020, i realized i still hadn't heard from the. i tried calling and their number didn't go through until i called the Johannesburg cell number on their site and the lady kindly passed on my message to the Hillcrest Durban branch. Finally Cindyt returns my message and calls me and informs me that they still dont have my invoice which i found odd because this whole time im being led to believe that it will take a few days. So now i got irritated because they are not responding and Cindy is not giving me a time frame of when my invoice was sent, when i should expect my invoice, she even said this was the first time inquiring until i informed her of time stamps of when ive been following up because they dont provide feedback! i informed her it was a matter of urgency from the 8th July! On the call i ask Cindy to reply to my email and provide feedback before i call back and she did not! I send a follow up email asking then to advise and confirm receipt of my mail! No reply. i just called today and asked the same thing and Cindy was on lunch. i left my details. and of course she did not call me back. i called back and now she said she doesn't know , basically i will get my invoice when i get it... What is That????? i ask for her to escalate to a manager she says she is and im appalled a manager of an institution would handle a sensitive, urgent case or query in this manner!!!!! its ridiculous. She even confirmed receipt of my emails and lied to say she replied yet when i ask her which email address she replied to, she couldn't respond!!!! I'm appalled by the service here and still want my service. SHE EVEN CUT THE CALL WHILE I WAS SPEAKING !!!! i would like whoever is in charge of Epicentre to respond urgently. the disrespect and lack of urgency of m matter is appalling!!!! I just sent a follow up email after my call with her today 18th Aug, and am 100% sure she will not respond!! The proof of payment i received have details of GHI Lab in Isiphingo Durban but the numbers are invalid !!! I WANT MY INVOICE IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!
