I joined Virgin Active's Collection membership (R3,400/month) specifically for one reason: Melrose Arch offered Reformer Pilates as part of the premium experience. That was the entire value proposition for me. Now, the club is under refurbishment — there are no showers, no reformer classes, and no clear communication about how long this will last. The core service I signed up for is just... gone. Their answer is, go to another gym, but I pay a premium for a specific reason. To make it worse, I can’t cancel without penalty. My only option is to downgrade, even though Virgin Active is no longer delivering on what was advertised. Deeply disappointed in the lack of transparency, accountability, and basic fairness.
If I could give them a fat 0, I would. Worst service, worst staff. The attitude of people is unbelievable. There are many other places to get a pair of glasses. Go there! Avoid this shop at all cost.
Unprofessional, disorganised, rude
Shocking service from delivery partner as well as customer service. They really do not care about their customers. Vote with your money and shop elsewhere. Most of their product you can buy directly from the supplier. Support local and go direct. Skip the.middle man and dont make use of takealot where possible.

I ordered online and paid R360 for delivery (it's a lot of $$$$). I find this is very expensive but was happy to pay it to get the products delivered on time. Sadly, no such luck. Best Builders gets their online department sorted, otherwise you will be left behind and out of business. The future is here. Catch a wake up.
It’s been 6 months and we still don’t have a complete kitchen. We cant get a straight answer from them and getting the facts from them is impossible
