DURBAN PANEL BEATERS - Shocking, shocking, shocking. That any insurance company will use them as a preferred provider is shocking. A truck (sewage / water truck) knocked me into a water run-off gully on the M13 on 4 December 2023. The impact as you can imagine form the truck versus my car was severe. It knocked me so hard that my vehicle tipped. Fortunately, it did not roll. Durban Panel beaters kept my vehicle until February 2024. I had to constantly follow up. With the same old reasons why, the vehicle is not being repaired quicker. Let me also mention the assessor, did not pick up mechanical damage to my vehicle and the under-carriage damage to my car. One then needs to investigate the relationship between the insurance company and the assessor. The only parts replaced on my vehicle was: front bumper, right front side panel, right front light, two pumps. Now if the pumps were damaged, does it not stand to reason that mechanical damage occurred? When I collected my vehicle, I started getting “hillside assist” not available, at one point all the light went off on my dash while I was driving. Damage to the vehicle underneath. Oh hang on! when my vehicle was checked by FORD, they found my Clear view out of alignment (this my friends relate to my ABS). They found shock damage, sc****d under carriage, splash cover was not replaced (parts being left off my vehicle). Durban Panel beaters turned around and said there was no splash cover… The car is in an accident, and they will use that? I complained constantly. I took my vehicle back to them on 14 June 2024 to replace the missing splash cover and find the alarms that are coming and going. – NADA!!! It is 26 Friday July 2024, and I still do not have my vehicle back (with all the repairs and parts redone and replaced). I have huge trust issues with the Panel beater. Not trustworthy. They lie and stall. Leave parts off one’s vehicle and simple do not communicate at all. They should not be on any insurance company or Dealership approved list of preferred provider.
My first mobile contract was and is with MTN since 1994. I have not had issues and I believed my service provider was a good one. I could replenish my data and voice minutes by calling 135 and get additional information. A couple of months ago MTN went onto a new system and my additional recurring voice minutes disappeared. And suddenly I am stuck with a useless contract. My "Spend" is R36.00 and I am not able to get recurring voice minutes due to my contract type. I have not struggled to get an answer out of any company I have dealt with in 35 years. This is another type of difficult. I have mailed MTN. I have called MTN and I have been into a branch, with zero success, nada, ziltsh. No success at all. All I want is for the spend amount to be increased to a reasonable amount. My fist email was sent on 26 June 2020. I get mails back saying they received my mail, they'll ask for my information and give a little list which I completed a couple of times, I ask them to increase the spend and add recurring voice minutes to the value of R200,00. The its silent like a grave, until I follow up again a couple of days later with the same request and this entire thing plays out again. I get a reference numbers: Re: [#3163047]. Re: Increase Spend to R200.00 [#3225357] Re: [#2902483] Re: Please load voice airtime [#2782335]
ZERO RATING! If you want to contact a NON-INDUSTRY - this is it – the South African Post Office! Service is terrible, in fact non-existent - Post office’s work with cash :-( Can they be trusted, I wonder if they can.) They can't be trusted with parcels? China shipped parcels to South Africa in November 2019 which can be tracked every step of the way until it arrives in South Africa. Tracking shown parcels arrived in SA according to China tracking information. Try and track it in our own country? Well let me tell you this is a dark place to be in - Not able to track - goes into a BLACK HOLE! Post office does not reply to mailsa\ and can’t be reached, no one answers the telephone, recording does their job for them, which is doing nothing at all! Then why pay them? I call for an alternative postal service - Privatise it! Maybe a more responsible party should take ownership of it, LIKE CHINA. South African Post Office service Customer Care do not care
