I'm furious. I got taken for a ride by thieving Chinese ****mers who have since closed a website that looked legit. www.factoryoutlet.co.za I bought my husband a pair of Skechers, paid over R1000 for them. Got confirmation of the order being received, got a tracking number and could track the parcel from China until it arrived in SA. It ended up at a Post Office in Cape Town somewhere and was collected by an E Emanuel. *******s. We work so hard to buy a special gift and get ****med, not by our own countrymen but by foreigners.
Delivery Failed? 2 January 2025 We were informed of the above via email and advised that we will only receive our parcel if we pay another R165 to Buffalo Couriers. We had received no notification of the delivery, in fact it was only scheduled for mid January, but despite that, we know there was in fact no attempt to deliver the parcel because we were at home from the 31 December until the 6th of January due to illness and at no time did anyone ring the bell or hoot or call to attempt to deliver a parcel. When calling and speaking to an agent, I got an arrogant response to my query simply saying, this is how we work. They had no proof that the delivery failed, as there was no information on their side, but we were forced to pay the fees for a 2nd time otherwise, I was told, our parcel will simply be sent back. Shocking service, absolutely appealing. Shame on you for ****ming people out of their hard earned money and lying to your loyal customers. We will not support you in future. A refund is what I want.
If you are thinking of using AirBnB to make a reservation - think twice. I have been looking for accommodation on their site for weeks now. I have booked with them on 2 previous occasions without any problems - however - this time it has turned into the most unpleasant experience. Firstly, I saved my places I thought was appropriate - and once I went back to make the booking, all those saved places had disappeared and no one at AirBnB support could tell me why - so I had to start over again - very frustrating. Secondly, When I eventually found a place, and because you are not able to see exactly where its located until you've actually booked - I ended booking what looks like a lovely place - right on the ocean, but it was slap bang in the middle of a residential area - which was not what it looked like on the map they provide. Third, I then cancelled the booking and am still waiting for my refund back to credit card - which can take over 2 weeks. Why on earth does the refund take that long - when the debit to your account is instant? Fourth - I received several email advising me of a credit of R359 which will be deducted off my booking - however, when I found a suitable place which I could actually see was right on the ocean and booked it - the credit I was given was only R300. Upon querying it - I was told there was a mistake and I only had the R300 and not the R359. The very next day I again received an email saying I have an R359 credit. When I queried it - I was again told its a mistake and they will look into it. I have again received the same email - just 2 days ago - informing me of the credit - even though Ive already used the R300 credit - really AirBnB - get yourself sorted out!! Lastly, how can establishments be allowed charge different rates for different nights of the week? I wanted to book a 10 day holiday but the one establishment had different rated almost every night?? Surely if I book for 10 consecutive days, I should pay the same per night rate for that period of time? For me this is not about the anything else but the principle of the matter. AirBnB - you guys advertise falsely - and you lie to people - because you don't give them what you advertise. You utter lack of response to all of the listed complaints brought to your attention shows how little you care. I will most definitely not be using you guys again!! Rather support local - LekkerSlaap and SafariNow - you have my support!
