What a fantastic experience I had today. Christopher, Danial, Duncan and Ntuthuzelo worked solidly and expertly until the job was done. Underpinning their expertise is Talita the company secretary who with every engagement I had with her, was efficient and friendly. I gather the entire company is customer-centric and my experience was truly ROYAL. Highly, highly, recommended.
A trend has developed at the Woolworths Engen Quick Shop convenience store, Meadowridge, Cape Town, where fresh Woolies sandwiches are no longer available. Yesterday my son bought a Woolies chicken mayo on whole wheat bread. The bread was dry and tough. It did say it should be sold on the 6 April 2021, however, we expect to pay R50.00 for a fresh sandwich and not a stale one. Don't the staff check the expiry dates? Or is Woolworths not checking up on the sale of their produce?
I had the pleasure of receiving excellent customer service from Aashiqah Adams at the Military Road Kirstenhof branch. From her wonderful telephone manner and communication skills to expediting a delivery for me at short notice. What a pleasure to venture out of my home only to have a truly fantastic experience. In February I fell in Woolworths Meadowridge. I hurt my back and received physiotherapy for it. I sent the modest claim to Woolworths head office. Despite the evidence they have on their security camera of me slipping on a piece of fruit, my claim is not valid as I did not consult a doctor first before seeing a physiothe******. It would be unethical of me to now approach my GP even though he has been prescribing anti-inflammatories for my chronic back pain following surgery in 2010. TAKE NOTE: If you do not consult a medical doctor your injury claim will not be considered by their insurers.
A woman working in the service department of Tafelberg Furnishers in Diep River, Cape Town, Charnee van Rooi, deserves a public accolade for service excellence. Following a run around with the service department of my bread maker that took months to resolve, Charnee followed up repeatedly via email to the service technician and kept me informed frequently during the process. The character and work ethic of Charnee should be recognized and applauded by the management of Tafelberg Furnishers nationally and within the branch where she is employed. Thank you Charnee.
I returned a faulty Russell Hobbs bread maker to Tafelberg Furnishers in Diep River Cape Town before lockdown. The service department at Tafelberg have had no feedback from Russell Hobbs about the status of my repair. I have also tried to telephone them and the line appears to be malfunctioning. Enormously frustrating.
