The Customer Is Clearly Not King My first experience with this company in December was excellent. The planter boxes are very expensive, but the service justified the price. I ordered four boxes and the salesperson ensured everything was included so that the product was complete on delivery — including the liners so I could plant immediately. Because of that positive experience, I decided to order two more boxes in March, along with a three-tier box. Unfortunately, the experience this time was completely different. For what should have been a simple order, there were far too many contact points, no formal invoices (only quotes), and I was told stock limitations meant I had to pay two separate delivery fees. The two boxes that arrived today were also an hour late — and to my surprise, they arrived without the liners. When I raised the issue, the salesperson argued that it was my responsibility to order the liners. This is confusing, as my December order was delivered as a complete product with liners included. There was no indication that this order would be handled differently. This is not my business — it’s yours. Customers shouldn’t have to guess which components are required to make a product usable, especially when previous orders were handled properly. The disappointing delivery is one thing, but the defensive response when I raised a concern was even worse. Being made to feel as though I was wrong simply for raising the issue is unacceptable. A very disappointing follow-up experience after what started as such a positive first purchase.

Very happy with the service I received when ordering my custom self-assembling jungle gym. One ***** was missing but they delivered it as soon as I brought it to their attention. Delivery was fast and easy. Happy with the quality of the product and can definitely recommend them

placed an order with the store in Tokai, they did not have stock, but requested that I paid. They then said that is will be there in a week and that I do not have to call just come and collect. Of course when I arrived a week later there was nothing there. I requested my money back, which they then told me I have to give them my bank account as they cannot reimburse me on my credit card, although they had no issue putting the charge on my credit card. I have still not received my money back. So no product and no money, stay away from that place, it will probably take another 2 weeks for them to reimburse me, in the meantime they are enjoying the interest on my money.

There is nothing I appreciate more when a business is in constant contact with it's client. When it happens like that any obstacle can be conquered. Thank you for this kind of a service pole yard. Your products are of great quality and prices quite affordable compared to similar suppliers.

From her wonderful telephone manner and communication skills to expediting a delivery for me at short notice. What a pleasure to venture out of my home only to have a truly fantastic experience. Just had the most amazing service from Jason at The Pole Yard in Noordhoek!!! We wanted to make our Grandsons Christmas Present and Jason went to so much trouble to help us by working everything out and cutting our timber. We were easily able to make them an amazing gift which we would otherwise not have been able to afford. Very unusual to find such incredible customer service! Greatly appreciated!!

I ordered timber for a project, received the quotation with bank details. I paid then called to confirm a delivery day and time only to be told there is no stock. I should have been told upfront that there was no stock, now i have no materials for my project and have spent the money. Unacceptable!
