We had cameras installed at our home by Tshenolo PI. My father had some technical issues with password resetting, which was reported on several occasions to no avail. We were assured that the technician would contact us, three weeks later no feedback has been received. My father has contacted them on facebook, i have contacted them via whatsapp. They promise to resolve the issue but do not. quite disappointed with the poor feedback because they are very active on social media
I ordered a phone with Telkom telephonically, i was informed it would take about 7 days to deliver the device. two weeks later i had still not received the device. on the third week i received delivery of the device. it was the wrong colour. I decided not to open it so i can return it. unfortunately, my esim was disconnected by telkom. i went to the telkom shop and they informed me that they could not assist me. the whole weekend i could not make or receive calls. by monday i was forced to activate this device because it would effect my ability to do my work. I am deeply unsatisfied with the service from telkom. i have been their customer for many years. one cant even call to speak to an actual person to raise complaints because of the automated options which arent thorough enough to service all the issues one could have. i am stuck with a device i am not happy with because no one could assist me to remedy the issue timeously
In September 2018 i took up a policy with Finrite as advised by Telkom for my mobile device. I submitted the phone on 14 January to claim for a cracked screen. I called the insurance after two weeks after having not heard from them regarding the progress of fixing my device. I was subsequebtly informed that i have been pay an excess amount of R1559.90. According to the policy documents i have with me, my first payable excess amount is R750. I have not claimed since taking the policy with Finrite. I called the call center today and was informed by the agent that my policy had changed. he agreed that i had not been forwarded the new policy documentation or been informed about the changes in excess. He further indicated that he cannot do anything to assist me. When i contact Telkom they tell me that all they can do is escalate the matter with Finrite. Telkom has absolved all responsibility regarding my frustrations regarding this matter and have indicated that they cannot assist me. This is in spite the fact that they chose Finrite as their preferred underwriter and continue to collect the insurance premium from me on their behalf
