I had one of the worst customer service experiences at the Woolworths Gezina Gallery branch in Pretoria. I returned clothing items well within their 60-day return policy, with my original receipt, and in good condition — only to be treated with complete disrespect. The store manager was rude and dismissive from the start. She refused the return, claiming the items were worn, even though the Woolworths website does not state that lightly worn items cannot be returned (excluding hygiene items like underwear). Instead of handling the matter professionally, she rubbed her own wool jacket on the pants in front of other customers to try and “prove” they were used — a humiliating and unnecessary gesture. To make matters worse, she said the clothes had to undergo a 6-week ‘audit’ and quality control check — something not mentioned anywhere in their return policy. This is misleading and goes against both Woolworths’ stated policies and my rights under the Consumer Protection Act. This branch completely ignored basic customer service and legal obligations. If you expect to be treated fairly or with respect — avoid this store.
I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism and lack of urgency from Bestmed’s Pre-authorization department. On 15 January 2025, I was referred for a CT scan due to a growth on my knee bone. I promptly submitted all necessary documents to the Pre-authorization department, yet as of 4 February 2025, I am still waiting for a response. The only reply I receive is an out-of-office message, which is completely unacceptable for a medical aid provider dealing with important health matters. The lack of communication and failure to process urgent medical requests shows a complete disregard for patients' well-being. Delays like this can have serious health consequences, and it is frustrating that I am left in limbo with no clear answers. If Bestmed claims to provide quality healthcare support, they need to improve their response times and professionalism. Ignoring patients for weeks on end is simply inexcusable. I strongly advise others to think twice before relying on Bestmed for urgent medical assistance. I hope this review encourages them to fix their inefficient processes and start prioritizing their members' health. What are we Paying For? How on earth does a manager take away the phones of the Sales Consultants / Cashiers at Hennopspark outlet? I've been trying to phone the lady that usually assist me with orders just to find out the manager took the phones away of each cashier. How are you suppose to run a business if the work ethics are like this? The managers never answer their phones. This is poor work ethics.
Absolutely worst services. Struggling to get a hold of sacpcmp regarding my registration for over a year. They are a scam and rob many professionals of their career.
Absolutely the worst medical aid provider that I ever dealt with, they run your debit orders but still they don't sort out your Medical bill, what am I actually paying for then? Their call centre is the worst, they can't assist you in any way, and they are absolutely rude AF.
