We purchased our timeshare week at Cabana Beach Resort in 2017 and had a few memorable years there, however due to circumstances we have been unable to use the unit for the past 3 years and have asked Cabana Beach Rentals to please rent the week it out for us. They diligently supply us with the forms which we complete and submit and then nothing happens! Our follow up emails go unanswered. From a resort that claims to be "sought after", there should be no issue renting the unit out?
I would like to warn people against using Travelstart! My experience and that of my family was nothing short of frustrating and distressing. To make it worse, there is no way to communicate with them, other than through email and each email contact can take 7 days or more for a response. Their Whatsapp chat line is automated with no human response, even though it does say, someone will get in touch with you! The landline number redirects you to the Whatsapp number! Be careful when booking, you don’t actually get the flight they initially advertise and when asking for options they keep sending the same one flight option! There seems to be no alternative options, even though our flights where to Syrcuse USA and we wanted to fly via New York, they kept sending emails with only one option, Philadelphia! Be careful also, whether the airline cancels or you do, a service fee of around 25% of each airline ticket price is taken by Travelstart! Don’t try to negotiate this, as they do indicate when you’re about to pay them for your flight that there may be a service charge on cancellation, but they don’t indicate up front what percentage that service fee is! Also, don’t buy any extra insurance from them as none of it covers anything. Will never book through them again! Pity as they used to offer fantastic service in the past, when one could speak to a human!
I sent emails to several companies to assist me with a UIF claim and got a response from 2. One of these was from NOQUIF with a very professional and comprehensive list of requirements for Karen in order for her to provide assistance. He instructions were very clear and by providing everything she asked for the process was very easy, her continual progress updates also kept me informed and in no time the claim was paid. I would recommend using NOQUIF anytime! Thank you Karen!
