The pure aim for Atlas Security is to try and get battery failures, false alarms so they get more sales to sell batteries and sensors and of course everytime you get charge call out fees . We pay monthly for a system but the monthly fee isn't enough. Its just a money making scheme. south africa is a crime zone but Atlas is one of the crime problems *****ing our money. How many times when our house alarm goes off do we have to enter our home before the atlas guys go in. What security is that?? They quick to sell you the system but after sales just doesn't exist. Returning of calls happens once in a blue moon. 2 systems we pay for every month but the hassles that goes with it is no worth it.
This could probably be solved in a better way but I tried.Very disappointed with there parts department supplied wrong part to my customer and refused to give a refund. Customer supplied sample of part and still wrong part was supplied. Its seems to me the parts salesmen only work from vin numbers and cant identify his products. Spoke to dealer principal and he cant help in any way only answer is they cant take the loss and he shifts the responsibility to a the complaints department he gives me a number to dail to lay a complaint I meen really now.A R5000 loss is a big loss for someone that earns a normal wage in this case a person with a part time job.
Ive joined atlas about a month ago. Sales lady was very happy selling me they're product and assured me I will be much happier with them than my old security company as I had problems with false alarms and it doesn't get fixed. So alarm technician comes out connects there device checks everything and gives his approval.he used my old system and just linked them up as my new security company. First evening of atlas false alarm they come out said it was connection problem ok.So same night same problem they change a sensor of a cost of R580. Ok after that a nother sensor and a nother R580. Then alarm goes of again and they just want to change sensors but the new ones they fitted is still giving false alarms. The technitian was at my shop about 6 time in one month and problem is still not fixed they call me about 3 to 4 times a day between the hours of 21:00 to 6:00 in the morning I can sleep I spent over a R1000 we are in lockdown now and problem is still not solved I don't know what to do its seems to me they just want you to spend money and worry about your building every night. I've got a motor vehicle repair shop and if a customer must come back 6 times and if car is not fixed he will certainly not be my customer any more and will not pay for my services. I meen you hire a security for the reason to look after your prorety so you can sleep assured and be rested the next day to be productive
