I ordered spark plugs from Takealot on the 18th of March because I couldnt find them in local spares shop. At checkout it said the expected delivery date is 03 April. After I've paid it changed to 14 April. I was duped into paying for something that could take forever to arrive. Yet in their website they say shipment takes 5 to 7 working days. In my case, it's gonna take 26 days. This is the number of days that a person waits when buying a product overseas. I tried to cancel so that I could buy these plugs from BossAuto Spares but there no option for cancelation. My car is gonna sit idle for the whole month because of takealot. These guys will lose customers once Amazon open their shop here. They're unprofessional and take forever to do one simple thing.
On the 22nd of November 2022, I saw an advert of a rearview mirror hung phone holder on Tik-Tok by the company called For Real Deals. I immediately clicked on the provided by the advert I created an account and ordered the phone holder when I was checking out, the website was showing that the phone holder will be delivered between 3 and 5 working days. 6 days passed with my product not delivered. I immediately contacted the company in question via email on the 28th of November on as to why my phone holder has not been delivered. They told me that it takes between 15 and 20 days for a delivery to take place. I asked to cancel or change the delivery address because I knew I'd be gone from the address which I had planned for the product to be delivered. They refused, saying it is late for that, despite the salt that they SOLD ME A LIE that the product is delivered between 3 and 5 days. I sent them an email saying if they try to deliver the product to the old address, they won't find me. Eversince, they've been ignoring my emails and their number keeps me on hold for hours. I hate this company and I wish those who care, to never do business with them. My last email to them was that they should keep the product with them and should not bother delivering because no one's there. I give them ZERO stars.
Hi! I would like to report a company called Shabonga Cleaning Services cc, which is contracted by Eskom at Kendall Power Station to offer cleaning services. First of all, workers are paid meagre wages of R20 per hour but the company registers that they are paid R37/hour on its books every time they are requested to submit company books for review. Secondly, workers are not paid to work on weekends, even though the company has made it mandatory for them to report for duty. What breaks my heart, is the total disregard of human lives by this company to expose its workers to harsh cleaning chemicals that they have to use at cleaning office carpets and halls within the power station. They are not even issued with PPE's like masks. They are told to use their own masks. They have to handle skin-sensitive chemicals with bare hands. Eskom's local management is aware of the workers' plight but it has opted to turn a blind eye and pretend as if it's normal. My wife has been coughing and vomiting the whole day of 09 October 2020, due to the fact that she's been exposed to these chemicals. She has been constantly complaining of dry and burning chest. She has lost taste and smell and I don't know if she'll live to see another day. The Department of Labour did visit the station on the last of week of September and they were made aware of this blatant abuse of workers but they, too, did nothing about it. I'm so appalled by this company's conduct and its total disregard of human lives and its exploitation of workers.
Hellopeter I applied for a personal loan with Nedbank last week (07 April 2020). The consultant who helped through the phone seemed fine from the beginning. He was nice and he asked for my payslip which I kindly sent. He told me that there's no need for bank statement because I bank with Nedbank. Our application started at around 11 AM and lasted for about 20 minutes. I sent the payslip by 11:30. From my previous experience with Nedbank's loan application, the process would last for a day. This wasn't my first application by the way. The 'consultant' never consulted me again. I had to beg him to send me a contract to sign. On the 8th of April, I used more than R70 in airtime trying to call the guy. Different consultant tried by all means to connect me with him but he would not pick. On the same day afternoon, around 17:00, he called me and said he is going to send it on Thursday morning. On the 9th he did send it. I signed it and sent it back to him within an hour after I had seen and read the contract. He again did not update me with my application till I received an sms of a missing document. I sent him an email and his response was that he's gonna send it. After that he went quiet again. Today (14/04/2020 I tried calling him with no success. I was kept waiting on the line for more than 20 minutes on 5 different occasions till one female consultant picked up. Do you know the pain of having load R30 airtime back-to-back because of a "very busy consultant?" The lady tried connecting me with him to no success. I have sent him 2 emails begging him to update me. He doesn't care for a customer that has never missed a single loan payment and who has banked with Nedbank for more than 6 years. I am so appalled and I have sent him an email begging him to just cancel my loan application because it is a daunting and painful process. To me, he seems clueless, careless and less supportive. He lacks basic customer relations. To be honest, if there was a zero rating star, I was gonna check on it. The guy left me a very poor client experience. I always thought Nedbank value it's clients, but it seems I was wrong.
